El béisbol es un deporte que tiene más de un siglo de antigüedad, en ese lapso de tiempo ha vivido algunos cambios, pero en las últimas dos décadas la evolución es mucho mayor en comparacion a lo que se vivido en sus primeros 50 años de existencia, me enamore de este deporte a la edad de 10 años, gracias a unos amigos y vecinos de la infancia, ya que en mi casa no se veía ningún deporte. Mi padre no practicaba ninguna disciplina deportiva y se dedicaba a trabajar y así poder mantener a la familia, en mi casa se quedaba mi madre y mi abuela, ella mucho menos estarían pendiente del deporte y sus diferentes disciplinas, mi interés por el béisbol fue creciendo rápidamente, recuerdo que en esos años, solo transmitían un juego por semana del béisbol de las ligas mayores y era los domingos a la 1 de la tarde, lo llamaban el juego de la semana, lo mismo ocurría con la liga de beisbol de Venezuela, el padre de uno de mis amiguitos me regalo un televisor pequeño, de esos antiguos, recuerdo que era a blanco y negro, pero me servía para ver los juegos dominicales, recordar esos momentos me llenan de nostalgia y a la vez felicidad.

STOPmi enganche al béisbol viene desde aquella serie mundial entre Arizona y Yankees, no esperaba que volvieran los D-back pero, lo hicieron, tampoco esperaba lo que hizo Boston en el 2004, pero, la verdad es que, sin duda alguna sin tantas reglas, el béisbol era mejor.
