I never bought the digital gold theory. Always preferred the digital cash narrative, and that's why I always supported other coins like Bitcoin Cash and Dash. As Roger Ver always said, the original whitepaper was about building a peer to peer digital cash system.

To be a digital cash, it would need to be easier to use and less fees. Lightning resolves part of it, but there is always the number of transactions per x time... Do you know if it could escalate indefinetely
