I think the conversation went out from reading vs listening to 'vintagephilia'. Books sucks, they are bulky, heavy and hard to move. We had this same conversation with CDs, BlueRays on any genre, videogames, movies, music albums. I think we romanticize old tech and that's fine. But is not the same issue. And I love that is rather digital than analog. As for the risk of changing it, that's why blockchain, and digital signatures (like checksum) to have integration of content.
