I used to collect those. Had that issue as well. I also preferred Electronic Gaming Monthly. I used to buy one each week. Gamepro, EGM and GameFan (which are available at Archive.org).

Those were really cool days before the internet eZine and forums really took off.

I still have a bunch of EGMs around. I might have a GamePro or two but I didn't buy that one much. VideoGames & Computer Entertainment was the other one I bought a lot...along with a couple of Commodore 64 magazines.

GameFan used to have a mascot similar to the cartoon network toonami.
