If I Could Change the World, I’d End the Pain of War.

Currently, if I had the opportunity to change just one thing in the world, without hesitation, it would be war — the existence of it, the idea of it, everything about it.

Right now, the world is watching the heartbreaking war between Israel and Palestine, and to be honest, it hurts deeply. It’s not just about politics or land or religion anymore; it’s about innocent lives that are being destroyed every single day. I have seen countless videos of children crying after losing their parents, their siblings, their homes — their entire world. These kids literally have to fight and struggle just to get the basic things like water and food. And the thing is, some of them don't even have an idea of what’s going on, yet they’re forced to grow up in the middle of violence and fear. Watching those videos often brings tears to my eyes, and in all of this, I find myself asking this question, “Where is our humanity?”

What breaks me the most is the realization that these wars that has been happening could have been avoided — or even stopped — if the right people were leading with compassion and conscience. But instead of pushing for peace, we often see powerful countries choosing sides, sending weapons, and funding destruction. It feels like the world has become numb to suffering, especially when it’s happening far away from their comfort zones.

I think I would change this because I genuinely can not stand seeing people suffer, especially children. They deserve love, protection, and a safe place to grow up and not them having to live their lifes in fear . War does not only take lives, but it also takes away the chance for people to actually live meaningful and peaceful lives. It forces families to flee their homes and live as refugees. It shatters dreams, ruins economies, and leaves behind scars that never truly heal.

If war could be completely eliminated from the world, I genuinely believe we would see a huge shift in how people relate with one another. There would be more understanding, more dialogue, and more cooperation between nations. Children would grow up without trauma, communities would thrive, and we would focus more on healing the planet instead of destroying it. Also, hatred and revenge wouldn’t be passed down from one generation to the next because there would be no more cycles of violence.

I am actually aware of the fact that a war-free world might not necessarily solve every problem we are facing currently, but then i believe it would give us the space and strength to start solving the rest.

That’s why, if I could change anything at all in this world, it would be to put an end to war — because I truly believe peace is the foundation for everything good that can follow.

Thanks for reading.

Seriously this issue of war is becoming out of hand. It is gradually tearing humanity apart and we don't seem to be mindful of it. If we can eliminate the existence of war and hate, this world would have been a better place.

Thanks for sharing this with us
