That's how life is

Scrolling through my Instagram following list, a lot of friends are no longer present on social media. Their final posts stretched as far back as 2020. 🥹

Well, That forced me to pause and take a moment of how strange life is.

On one hand, we were always staying updated with each other but time just slipped from our fingers and years past by. Everybody has life going on, priorities change, people move on and/or grow away from someone or a group of someones, they take that as sign to start anew or just prefer a more quiet solitude.

Social media makes us feel connected, yet it only provides an image of the pieces that people are willing to show you.

Each of those inactive accounts belonged to a life that still rises and sets, triumphs and suffers as we live our lives away from social media; the laughter, tears heartache filling in so many blanks left unfilled.

That's just how life is.

Lastly, to everyone who I met once or more; regardless of whether we are still in contact or not nowadays, I hope life has been good for you.

I hope you have found peace, happiness and health where people surround you who are making it a home.
