Climbing the stairs in John Wick (Eng/Esp)
I was visiting France and only had one night in Paris before my early morning flight. My options were to sleep that night at the hotel or to walk around Paris.
Needless to say, I chose the second option. Along with a Puerto Rican friend and two Dominicans, the Caribbean decided to explore Paris on foot. With cold as harsh as the sun in my homeland and several shots of Brugal rum, I made it to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Montmartre.
My Dominican friend, a church geek, took me up the stairs once used by pilgrims. I looked at them and my mouth dropped open: "Asere, that’s the staircase where John Wick fell." My friend didn’t get it, and I felt embarrassed for knowing geeky details about action movies instead of the different churches in Paris.
Long story short, I climbed the stairs where the movie was filmed and stood on the esplanade where the film’s ending takes place.
I didn’t wait for sunrise.

A very good decision!
Sleeping on the plane! Hahaha...
