The Joy Of Motherhood: I Am A Proud Mother

Being a mother has been one of the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me, I never knew the feeling not untill I became one, let me say it is better experienced than imagined. Also, I have been wanting to be a mother my entire life and when I met my husband, he made me one and I made him a father, but do you know what's really special about being a mother? Let me just spill it out to you guys.

Being a mother can somehow be overwhelming but when you get to see the pains, stress and all you went through and how the process birth life, nothing conquers this feelings. This phase is nothing compared to how well you so imagined before because it's everything a woman would trade the world to have.

When I first had my child, right there in the hospital, she was cleaned and given to me while still having this consciousness, I cried, so as little as I was then, I could for real have a child of my own and nurse someone back to life, this was more than me being happy, this was an adventure I was so eager to go into, I was ready for the headaches but was I ready for the aftermath of the headaches?

There was a time in my life I was scared of going through the knife to give birth but when it was almost time for me to deliver my child, i never was scared infact,I was all out to make sure that beautiful being in me was given a lifetime chance to see the beauty of life, I went into to labour room, this time not as that once scared lady but as someone who was ready to push another life out of darkness to the embrace of this world.

I might never figure these things out all at once but one thing I know for sure is that I have been able to bring two beautiful souls to life and that is something I could bet on. I might never be the most perfect mum but as much as wake up everyday, I want my kids to see how beautiful life can be irrespective of the financial constraints that accompanies life.

Today I see my kids running around the house and all I see are people who is ready to take over the world and I will trade every other thing in the world to keep them alive. The labour pains I once had is never to be compared to the joy of seeing my kids running around the house and calling me "mummy" that name alone means the world to me.

If you are a mother, appreciate the joy of motherhood, your marital home might not be as rosy as you had imagined but look at those beautiful souls you brought to earth and see every reason to live, smile and be happy. Nothing can take this thing away from you, let the world know that you are a mother and that makes you special.

Do not shy away from the responsibility of motherhood, it makes you who you are and what you will become when you finally retire, your kids are your pride, groom them and see how they bloom, treat them with love and respect, showcase your motherhood with pride and do not let the world silent you, I am rooting for all of you.
