When Preparation Meets Readiness
Greetings, great students, welcome to my blog.
This Afternoon, I want to share my view on what I titled When Preparation Meets Readiness.
As a student, I've studied these two words carefully, and I've also put them into practice.
And I've concluded that one can be prepared without being ready to carry out a certain task.
When I entered the university, I heard a friend of mine talking about preparation and readiness. I heard what she said, but I lacked understanding.
What she said was meaningless to me, not until something happened.
A few months after we started the lecture, one of our lecturers told us we would be writing a test the following day in her course.
She wanted to give the test that day, but some students pleaded with her to postpone it till the next day.
I didn't know how to start studying for the woman's test. So after her lecture, I went to the school library to study.
Guess what happened to me at the library? I fell asleep, with my book covering my head. When I woke up, it was already late, so I had to return home.
Immediately I reached home, I freshened up, and I decided to study again. But I was shocked, because everything looked strange to me.
I tried to memorize what I read, but it wasn't working. So when I went to school the next day to write the test, I ended up fumbling.
I wasn't able to write the test to my satisfaction.
That was when I realized that when preparation meets readiness, everything changes.
I would love to hear your view on this. Do you agree with me? Or do you have anything different to say?
Let's talk about it.
Thank you all.
