Unmerited Favour

Good morning everyone.Happy new month to you all.
I'm glad we've all made it to the last month of the year. Indeed I'm grateful to God for this wonderful opportunity.

It's a new month, and I want to speak on the topic that says Unmerited favour.

This is what I want to speak about. Sometimes when I'm alone, I begin to wonder why God loves us so much, despite how cruel and stubborn we are to him.

Some of us are so ignorant about how we've been with God. Some think everything they do pleases God.

If you try to talk to them about it, they will ask you not to tell them anything that they know what they're doing.

Indeed, the favor we've received from God, we do not merit it. I don't know if you've experienced a situation where people will favour you.

Sometimes, you will pray to God to favour you. But you don't know what way he wishes to pass through and favour you.

Sometimes, he will pass through people to favour you, and sometimes he comes through for you by himself.

I've tasted of his unmerited favor right from January till this December. I remember going to school one morning.

There's this lady I greet each time I pass by her shop. I don't know anything about her. Neither do I know where she's from.

But each time I greet her she will smile back at me. I realized that each time I passed, she did look at me. I didn't know why she always looked at me that way.

So one morning, I was passing by as I used to. So that day I lost my hair, then I packed it. So immediately she saw me, she called me.

I was surprised because she had never done that. At one point, I was confused because I thought I had wronged her in so many ways.
But as I was trying to navigate, I realized I had not wronged her in any way.

So I finally decided to go and meet her inside her hairdressing salon. So, when I got there, she asked me my name, and I told her.

She then asked me where I'm from, and I told her. She asked me why I hadn't done my hair, and I told her I had just loosened my hair.

Then she asked me to come to her shop once I'm back from school. So I accepted before I left for school.

So on my way back home, I branched her salon, and what she gave to me I know I didn't merit it.
She brought out some wools from her shop and gave them to me.

She asked me to use it and do my hair. She dealt with foreign hair, that's why she didn't make it herself. I was astonished because no one had ever given me such a huge gift before. I appreciated her for her gift, then I left.

Something happened again the following day. While I was on my way to school, another woman whom I used to greet called me.

She asked me to come to her salon and I went. Guess what she said to me. She told me that she's been observing me lately.

And she realized that the handbag I used to put my bags in was bad. She asked me to wait outside. She went inside her shop and brought out a handbag for me.

She asked me to take it and use it to put my books. I appreciated her for that. Indeed I've received favour I never merited.

So God will favor you this month. He will bring favour to you that you never merited. Forget about the way things have been, and just know that God will perfect everything that concerns you.
