The Bible As A Powerful Weapon

It's a beautiful Tuesday, and I want to build your faith in the word of God. The bible says that the word of God is always new to those who believe in it. That's the only word that can make you strong even in the midst of your weakness.

This morning, I want to speak on the topic that says "The Bible."

What exactly is the bible?

The bible is seen as a sacred and important text used by Christians. It usually contains the word ofàa God, laws, prophecies, and a lot more.

Purpose of the bible

1. It reveals God's intentions towards mankind.
2. The bible teaches us so many moral values that even our parents could not teach us.
3. The bible usually guides all the believers in their personal relationship with him.

I will be reading from the book of Hebrews 4:12.
I will be reading from the King James version. And it says:

The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Indeed the word of God is powerful. That's because it was written with the help of the holy spirit.

There are a few things I want you to know about the word of God that is contained in the bible.

1. The word of God makes the foolish wise.
2. It contains warnings to those who wish to live longer on earth.
3. It instructs believers on what they should do.

Indeed having a bible is good. But having it without studying it would deprive you of the privilege of knowing what you were meant to know.
