Oh Lord Open My Spiritual Eyes
Greetings my lovely family, good morning to you all. You're all welcome to my blog.
This morning, I want to speak on the topic that says Oh Lord open my spiritual eyes. A few days ago, I was fortunate to attend a seminar, and this was the topic that the speaker deliberated on.
And this morning, I want to share what I learned during the seminar with you, so you can also learn from it.
Each time I attend a seminar, I'm always blessed. I don't know about others, but that's what I do experience. And it would be a bad thing for me to attend such a program without being able

That teaching was for me. I took it so personally because it served as an eye-opener to me and my family as a whole.
Before I continue, I would love to talk more about what eyes symbolize. The word eyes, stands for the spiritual or natural presence of God.
It's used for spiritual perception which usually leads to understanding of the word of God, and how it could be used to solve problems.
I will be reading from the book of 11 Kings, chapter 6:8-17. I will be using the King James version of the bible to read.
Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.
And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.
And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.
Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?
And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.
And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.
Therefore, he sent thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, a host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! How shall we do?
And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
This scripture talks about the Israelites and the Syrians. They were planning to destroy the Israelites, but after their brief meeting, a man of God sent a message to the king of Israel.
He warned him not to pass through the path the Syrians would encamp. He didn't go there. And when the king of Syria noticed that, he had to ask his servants who had exposed their secrets.
But one of them said, they didn't rather, it was Prophet Elisha who told the king about it.
He came up with another plan.
He ordered horses and chariots, and they encamped about the city of Israel at night. So when Elisha's servant woke up in the morning, he noticed they were surrounded by their enemies.
He was scared, and he told his master that they wouldn't be able to fight them. But Prophet Elisha asked God to open his eyes.
So when God opened his eyes, he saw the host of heaven's soldiers, and he was convinced that they were not alone. Indeed, the host of heaven fought for them.
