My Weekend Experience: Watching A Football Tournament At The Senator Godswill Akpabio International Stadium

Good morning members of the weekend experiences community, happy weekend to you all. I welcome you to my blog.

This weekend has been one of the best weekends I've enjoyed so far. I'm glad to say this because I visited a place I've never been to before.
This is a place I've been longing to go to.

But each time I made my intention known to my friends, no one was willing to take me there.
A lot of outstanding events have been organized there, and as a lover of good things, I've been trying my best to attend at least one of those events.

But each time I plan, I end up losing everything. But I never gave up. I kept believing that one day, I would take myself there.

This was my plan for a while, and I always wanted to visit Senator Godswill Akpabio's international stadium during weekends since I'm a busy type.

I'm not always chance on a normal day, except weekends. And that's why I always try my best to make my weekends memorable.

In everything I do, I'm always careful not to begin my day in a sad mood. So I do everything possible to brighten up my day, either with my friends, or I take myself out to a place where I will feel relaxed, happy, and fulfilled.

Oh yes, I enjoy doing that a lot, that's because I understand what it means.

My experience this week, was a different one. I visited the Senator Godswill Akpabio International Stadium located in Uyo. They're hosting a tournament for footballers across the various Local governments in Akwa Ibom state.

I was told how magnificent the place was, and I've confirmed it. The stadium looks so clean and beautiful.

The football field looks neat, as well as some houses over there. I enjoyed watching the first match, which was between Essien Udim and another Local government.

They played well. I was pleased to know that we have young, talented players in Akwa Ibom State, who need support to go far in their profession.

You needed to see the way I was smiling while watching my friend Endurance display his talent on the football field.

He's an energetic young guy who has a passion for football. He has been to many states to play football. Though I've watched him play before in a normal setting, I've never watched him play in a stadium before.

It was a great privilege to witness my friend playing live in the stadium. I was convinced that indeed he was born a footballer.

You know, until you watch people do the things they love, you can never understand who exactly they are and what they were called to do.

From what I saw, there are a lot of people with talents out there. And I pray God would make people with kind hearts to see them, and help them achieve their dreams.
