How Firm Will You Be In This Semester

Greetings members of the Hive student connect. Happy new month to you all. You're all welcome to my blog.

I want to share my view on what I titled How firm will you be in this semester?

That's what I want to talk about. For those of us schooling at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. We have just two days until our resumption day.

A lot of you are in your final year first semester, just like me. And all you think of is how to graduate sooner, so you can overcome the stress your lecturers have been putting you through.

Well, your thoughts are good, but not really good. That means something is lacking, and until you find it, you may not graduate as you think.

Do you know, as a finalist or at any level, that you need to stand firm and focus on your dreams? Graduation isn't the problem, but how to withstand the challenges that come with it is the problem.

I've seen a finalist, leaving her department because she couldn't meet up anymore. It wasn't her fault, it's just that she failed to realize the importance of being firm in whatever she was doing.

She listened to people's advice and complaints about the course she was offering, and she gave up a year to her convocation.

We're entering a new semester, and you need to be firm because temptations are coming. Don't be a student who could be intimidated by anyone. Know your purpose in school, and work towards it.

No Lecturer is wicked, It's just the way you see him or her that distracts you from getting what they're teaching you.

Stand firm my fellow students, till you reach your destination.
