The Interactive Bible Study On Threads

I had an idea this evening....

And I wanted to share it with the community and see what kind of feedback or activity we could generate from it.

I love talking about the bible and my faith. However I've never really been a 'pushy' kind of Christian. I believe that faith and sharing ones beliefs has to come from a genuine interest from the other party. Beating people over the head with the bible, doesn't win souls.

And one of the ways I've been able to share my faith with others, is structured bible studies. We take a topic and open up scripture to get our answers. We did it for a few months in the Kingdom bible study community a while back, but since then trying to get everyone together at a set time is challenging.

So I thought, why not use the amazing tools that $LEO has to create an interactive and engaging study that doesn't require people to be in front of their computer or phone at a set time.

How would this work?

What is that??

These are unique threads on...Well Leo Threads lol They start with an introduction Thread, with the hashtag #threadcast on it.

Once it gets around 20 comments or responses to it, it starts trending on top of the platform like this:

My idea would be....A chain link kind of study to get the juices flowing and I'll be doing this live right now. We can take the scripture, talk about it, discuss it and have an open dialogue about what we are studying together.

And instead of me trying to explain it all right here, I'll start one right now and you can engage with it at anytime. No pressure to respond right away, the trending Threadcasts stay up top for about 24 hours. So this will be set up to be interactive at the time you read this blog post...

So what do you think?

If this takes off, we can do a weekly threadcast bible study and really get the community engaing with each other but also, with the Word of God.
