Big Answers From The LEO AMA

Today was a great day to be a Lion!

A few weeks ago, I heard rumblings of #LEO getting away from the inflation model and moving onto something different. I was a little concerned at first, but intrigued the more I learned about the potential of the token going deflationary.

It makes sense on a few levels, and the big one being....This is a platform built by entrepreneurs, and I think is catering the entrepreneur at heart. And that means, you've got to try new things :)

So I had questions....A few of them in fact. And the big one was....What happens to the stake we have built on LEO and how does it hurt or hinder our creation and curation rewards?

I kept hearing this from Khal and the LEO accounts:

Nothing changes!

Come on guys!!!! I said to myself, something has to be different! But over and over again, I heard....Nothing changes, you will use InLeo (the social side of things) and you won't even notice.

This seemed way too good to be true, so at today's AMA....I asked it out loud to get a crystal clear answer.

And you know what.....?

Khal was right, nothing changes...At least on the user side of things!

In fact, I would argue this new model is actually better for everyone thatholds $LEO and let me explain in 'normie' terms!!!

Essentially we now have two platforms....

1. LeoDex

2. InLEO

LeoDex 's LEO is on Arbitrum and is kind of it's own thing. We will be able to stake LEO on that platform and get payouts in the form of USDC to our wallets. Big win!

InLEO 's LEO is still on Hive-Engine. We stake that there, for curation and creation rewards.

The only thing that changes, is what Khal has stated since day one. Where the rewards are generated on InLEO, that changes. The will now come from buy back profits, rather than the inflation. When the switch is made, everything you earn on InLEO will come directly from buy backs. Which means, overnight LEO becomes deflationary. Another big win!

So for me, the choice is obvious...I need more $LEO lol

Because I want to win both ways with this project. I want those juicy USDC payouts and see LeoDex win. Because the more it's used, the bigger the payouts for token holders. And I want to stake more on InLeo for a bigger chare of the new rewards pool that will be generated by the buy backs within the platform, from ads, premiums, etc.

On the back end for the user, nothing changes. But what does change for token holders is...More opportunity. Now we can earn on two blockchains and continue to grow our influence on the InLeo platform as well.

The only problem I'm going to have no going forward is splitting my $LEO and deciding where I wanna stake most of it......

I might just have to keep buying this stuff after all ;)
