3 Reasons To Love Hive All Over Again

edde2d2e.png

I don't even know where to begin...

Let me start it this way...Hive for me has always been about two things...The people and actual use case.

I know there are some voices that wants to jump on the newest fad as soon as possible, but I think the DNA of this chain has always been actual people that ACTUALLY use this stuff.

Are there millions of active users? Not my a long shot and obviously, that's the goals if we really want to stir the pot. But those two things have always been checked off my list each and every day.

  1. Are there actual people here?

  2. Are they actually using the apps here?

And I haven't had a real good chance to do an in depth post about some of these new apps and projects that have popped up lately, so instead, I think this is going to be short....Three things that I love on Hive right now kind of posts.

I hope you enjoy it and share my enthusiasm for it all.

1. Snapie

Come on. I mean seriously, this thing being built right now is starting to shape up to be the exact app I always thought could bridge the gap between normies and blockchain users.

The team led by @meno have done just a remarkable job at building not only a fantastic mobile experience, but their desktop front end is shaping up to be just as powerful as your favorite Hive front end.

And the announcement of badges and the mission to gamify the experience has me...Super excited! Check out their front end here or their mobile app here!

2. Hive Grove

I'm calling this the ultimate Hive faucet. Faucets...Remember those? Fun fact, if it wasn't for a super old faucet that I used back in 2017, I would have never have learned about Steem which became Hive.

Hive Grove not only allows you to 'grow' your trees that pays you in Hive every day, but it allows you to support the community and help their trees grow as well.

Kind of like the entire purpose and promise of the blockchain has always been...People first! I absolutely love this new project created by @shiftrox and think it's capturing the best of what Hive has to offer...And heck, you even get some Hive paid from your trees every day as a bonus!

3. BBHO Project

I have to give @bradleyarrow his flowers. For as much as I've bugged him over the years when it came to his projects, he's always stood the course.

This week, he announced that the front end for the BBH Community just launched their very own server. And if you know about the drama with servers hosted by Hive Engine, you understand how awesome this is.

BBHO has been one of my favorite little projects on Hive for a few years now. And it's really tapped into a niche that has been left vacant by failed projects over the years here.

I'm super excited to see more people jump into this project and help grow it across the chain.

So yeah...So many thing that I've been keeping my eyes on and LOVING the experience with each of them.

And what's crazy...There's even more projects I'm not even mentioning here for the sake of space lol Hive is CONTINUING to develop amazing apps and communities, that people actually use.

Forget the low prices. Forget the DHF drama. Just love and appreciate everything that is being built here by real people, that have a real passion for the chain!

I’ve just returned to this platform after a two-year hiatus from HIVE. I’ve discovered many new developments that show this blockchain is still growing and evolving. Regardless of HIVE’s current price, there are still many people actively writing, accumulating HIVE on exchanges to power up, and—not to mention—developers actively working behind the scenes to improve the HIVE ecosystem.

Seeing all of this, I’ve decided to start writing here again. Thank you for writing and sharing this information with all of us.

It's nice to see things continue on Hive despite the DHF issues. I still think Hive has some great things about it, so lets see where things go.

Hive is a very special place for me. I have my first coffee of the morning while browsing posts. Throughout the rest of the day, I check in from time to time and find posts from friends I've met here—and I mean friends.

I hope you have a great day, and that we continue to enjoy Hive for many years to come.

Yeah the less influence the powers that be seem to have on people and projects, the better they seem to do.

@bradleyarrow and his bbh project and now Snapie has made me to show up regularly on Hive. Snapie has the potential to bring in active users if it remains focused on the short content and mobile app. There should be a direct sign up like Liketu without any complications on Snapie. Anyways, things are going well ❤️‍🩹.

Yes it's a great app just lacking good curation, my personal opinion.

Thank you so much for the mention! There are so many reasons to love Hive—if we look beyond just the economic value of the currency, we have a strong community, incredible and interesting people to interact with and get to know, and we can develop many projects on the blockchain. In short, there’s no shortage of opportunities and things to do!

Let’s keep believing in this and building something amazing here! Warm regards.

Thanks. I always try to do my best for everyone around me, and I really believe in Hive—even during tough times. If there’s nothing left, well, I’ll go down with the ship, hahaha. I really like the friends I’ve made here; the network itself is great—there’s so much we can create and build—so I’m sticking with it. Let’s go all the way!

Hey well said.
I think you need to write more about these projects that make $HIVE fun.
