Christmas among cats / Navidad entre michis [Ing/Esp]

Good morning to all cat lovers and the @hive-187635 community. Today I'm going to tell you about my kittens: Mikan and Maneki, who are quite a handful, and I never tire of photographing them and laughing at their antics.

At the end of November, my sister @jeniferzr and I put up our little Christmas tree. And guess what? Mikan and Maneki were like two gremlins because they discovered something new to play with. We had barely started putting it up when they both started nibbling on it. Hahahaha. These little rascals are not easy to handle.

In the end, they settled down on the tree and looked like two more decorations...

A few days later, we noticed that the tree looked strange, and when we took a closer look, we saw one of the cat's tails under the table and lots of fluff around it because Mikan, the orange cat, who is the most hunter-like, was touching it with his paw. Could he have thought it was a lizard?
I took the opportunity to pick him up, which immediately made him give me a sad look and meow as if to say, 'Let me go, Mummy'.

On the other hand, Maneki, the white and orange one, is cute but has the soul of a vampire, as his fangs stick out. He devoted himself to biting the baubles on the tree with a passion that was scary... and funny. And the funniest thing was that we took photos with him and he tried to catch everything his eyes saw. That's what he did to me with the tip of a Christmas hat, as you can see in the following photograph.

Then he asked my sister to take some photos of me with our cats. And this is what came out.

Mikan opened her mouth as if she were giving a speech. She was probably saying: "I declare the official season of destroying decorations open." Next to her, Maneki supports her with a softer but equally committed meow. And I hold them with great affection and laughter, as hearing their meows and touching them fills our spirits with good vibes. There came a point when I had to let them go, as Maneki was asking me with his little paw as if he were conspiring, while Mikan peeks out from behind with his "I didn't do it, but I did" look. In fact, they both melt our hearts with their energy.

Between games, Christmas treats and a collection of decorations that will never be the same again, an inevitable question arose: do cats love Christmas?
The answer, although they don't say it in words, can be felt. They love the excitement and joy, their eyes light up when you turn on the lights. For them, Christmas is just another perfect setting to play, but also a time when they see you closer, more willing to laugh and more available to share.
In the end, they teach us that Christmas is not about intact decorations, but about the little moments shared, even if they include nibbles on Christmas decorations and a cat hanging from the tree.

Buenos días a todos los amantes de los gatos y a está comunidad @hive-187635. En está ocasión les voy a referir sobre mis gatitos: Mikan y Maneki, los cuales son un caso y no me aburro de fotografiarlos y reir por las travesuras que hacen.

A finales de noviembre mi hermana @jeniferzr y yo armamos nuestro pequeño arbolito navideño. ¿Y qué creen? Mikan y Maneki parecían dos gremlis ya que descubrieron algo nuevo para jugar. Apenas habíamos empezado a armarlo cuando los dos se pusieron a mordisquearlo. Jajaajajaja. Estos traviesos no son fáciles.

Al final se acomodaron al arbolito y parecían dos adornos más……

Días después nos percatamos que el arbolito estaba raro y cuando nos fijamos bien vimos uno de los rabos de gato debajo de la mesa y muchas pelusitas alrededor pues Mikan, el gato naranja, que es el más cazador, estaba con su patica tocándolo. ¿Será que pensó que era una lagartija?
Aproveche y lo cargue, lo que en seguida me puso carita y me maulló como diciendo: -sueltame mami-

Por otro lado, Maneki, el blanco y naranja, es tierno pero con alma de vampiro, ya que se le sobresalen sus colmillos. Este se dedicó a morder las volas del arbolito con una pasión que daba miedo … y risa. Y lo más gracioso que nos hicimos fotos con él y todo lo que ven sus ojos lo trató de atrapar. Así me hizó con la punta de un gorro navideño como pueden percatarse en la siguiente fotografía.

Luego le pidó a mi hermana que me tiré unas fotos con nuestros michis. Y esto fue lo que salió.

Mikan abrió la boca como si estuviera dando un discurso. Probablemente decía: - declaro inaugurada la temporada oficial de destruir adornos- A su lado, Maneki lo apoya con un maullido más suave pero igual de comprometido. Y yo los sostengo con mucho cariño y risa ya que sentir sus maullidos y tocarlos llenan de buenas vibras nuestros espíritus. Llegó un momento en que los tuve que soltar ya que Maneki con su patica me lo estaba pidiendo como si estuviera conspirando mientras Mikan asoma por detrás con su mirada de “yo no fui, pero si fui”. En sí, ambos nos derriten los corazones por su energía.

Entre juegos, mordiscos navideños y una colección de adornos que ya nunca serán los mismos, surgió una pregunta inevitable: ¿aman los michis la Navidad?
La respuesta, aunque no la den con palabras, se siente. Ellos aman el entusiasmo, la alegría, les brillan sus ojos cuando enciendes las luces. Para ellos, la Navidad es solo otro escenario perfecto para jugar, pero también un momento donde te ven más cerca, más dispuesto a reír y más disponible para compartir.
Al final, ellos enseñan que la Navidad no son las decoraciones intactas, sino los pequeños momentos compartidos aunque incluyan mordiscos a los adornos navideños y un gato colgando del arbolito.
