What a great show! I loved 24. I used to watch it, one episode a week, on Fox after work. Jack Bauer, the hero of his time. Even then, some dissenting voices labeled him a fascist hero. The same old people, crying and calling everyone else fascists, when it's them, the leftists, who are actually acting like fascists.
I loved how Jack shot the wife of a man he was interrogating in his living room; if she didn't talk and tell Jack what he wanted to know, he was going to kill her. And Jack didn't care who he had to eliminate for his country and his president. If Jack Bauer existed in real life, he'd be protecting Trump. Hahaha!
Of course, nowadays a show with that character wouldn't fit into Hollywood's progressive narrative. That's why the series they released after the original 24 ended, 24 Legacy, or something like that, was a flop. The character wasn't like Jack Bauer at all.
