More than Misery Business: Hidden gems in Paramore's discography | (🇪🇸 - 🇺🇸)

Hoy sigo en la misma onda de la vez anterior, pero esta vez un poco más a mi estilo. Hoy les compartiré música de un grupo que suelo escuchar mucho en cualquier momento; se trata de Paramore y mi lado más punk junto a ellos.

  Greetings, music lovers who bring #Music to life. It's Tuesday, and I know it! A special day to share with you, taking advantage of the #TTT initiative proposed by @ablaze, where every Tuesday we recommend great music. Today I'm continuing with the same theme as last time, but this time a little more in my own style. Today I'll be sharing music from a band I listen to a lot; it's Paramore, and my punk side with them.

Este grupo salió a inicios de los años 2000 y se volvió uno de mis favoritos de manera indiscutible cuando escuché por primera vez su álbum Riot!. De todos los que han sacado hasta el momento, este es mi favorito por mucho; para mí, tiene una esencia diferente a la que tiene la agrupación actualmente.

𝙴𝚗𝚕𝚐𝚒𝚜𝚑

This group emerged in the early 2000s and became one of my absolute favorites when I first heard their album Riot!. Of all the albums they've released so far, this is by far my favorite; for me, it has a different essence than the band's current sound.

De esta agrupación tengo unas cuantas canciones favoritas, lo que se me hizo complicado para elegir al armar este post, pero me fui por las más clásicas y las que más he escuchado en ciertos momentos de mi vida y sobre todo por cómo me siento hoy.

I have a few favorite songs from this group, which made it difficult to choose when putting together this post, but I went with the most classic ones and the ones I've listened to the most at certain times in my life, especially because of how I feel today.

Lo más característico de este grupo es que se ha mantenido en el transcurso de los años con diferentes estilos, pero yo le soy fiel a su primer tipo, el del punk rock. La voz de Hayley Williams junto con los instrumentos tocados por Taylor York en la guitarra y Zac Farro en la batería, los hace increíblemente memorables en aquel álbum que les mencioné al principio, Riot!

The most distinctive thing about this group is that they've maintained their style over the years, but I'm loyal to their original sound: punk rock. Hayley Williams' vocals, along with Taylor York's guitar and Zac Farro's drumming, make them incredibly memorable on that album I mentioned earlier, Riot!

Si bien recuerdan, hace mucho tiempo hice un post sobre el nuevo estilo musical de la vocalista Hayley, en el que ella experimenta para buscar su propio estilo como solista, pero en esta ocasión toca hacer el #TTT o #ThreeTuneTuesday con canciones de esta excelente agrupación.

If you remember, a long time ago I made a post about the new musical style of vocalist Hayley, in which she experiments to find her own style as a soloist, but this time it's time to do #TTT or #ThreeTuneTuesday with songs from this excellent group.

Tenía pendiente hacerlo desde entonces y es hoy que finalmente me decidí a armarlo para compartir con ustedes mis tres canciones favoritas de Paramore. Por supuesto que tengo varias de Riot, pero para este post quise variar un poco y abarcar diferentes canciones de diferentes discos de ellos, así que a continuación les comparto desde la que "menos me gusta" a mi favorita.

I'd been meaning to do this ever since, and today I finally decided to put it together to share my three favorite Paramore songs with you. Of course, I have several from Riot, but for this post, I wanted to mix things up a bit and include songs from different albums, so here they are, from my least favorite to my absolute favorite.

Misery Business

La primera que debo recomendar es de mi disco favorito (ya saben cuál es): Misery Business es una de las canciones que marcaron mi adolescencia y mi juventud. Esta canción era una de las que escuchaba sin parar mientras estudiaba para la universidad

The first song I have to recommend is from my favorite album (you already know which one it is): Misery Business is one of the songs that defined my adolescence and early adulthood. I listened to this song constantly while studying for university.

Playing God

Esta canción me define cómo me siento ahorita. No recuerdo cuántas veces la he escuchado ya, pero sé que es una de mis favoritas y la he escuchado, sobre todo cuando me siento como me siento ahorita, juzgada y criticada por los demás.

This song perfectly describes how I feel right now. I can't remember how many times I've listened to it, but I know it's one of my favorites, and I listen to it especially when I feel like I do now, judged and criticized by others.

I Caught Myself

Por último, pero no menos importante: I Caught Myself. Una de mis favoritas por ser parte de la banda sonora de Crepúsculo, aquella película de vampiros que se volvió un frenesí por sus libros y, por supuesto, por su historia de amor.

Last but not least: I Caught Myself. One of my favorites because it's part of the Twilight soundtrack, that vampire movie that became a frenzy thanks to its books and, of course, its love story.

Si me ponen a elegir qué estilo me gusta más entre Hayley Williams como cantante solista y como cantante en Paramore, la elijo con su agrupación, porque por más que sea, junto a los chicos mantiene este estilo de chica ruda que me encanta y que me inspira en mis momentos más caóticos de mi vida. Espero que les haya gustado mi #TTT.

If I had to choose between Hayley Williams as a solo artist and as the lead singer of Paramore, I'd choose her with the band. Because no matter what, with the guys, she maintains this badass style that I love and that inspires me during the most chaotic moments of my life. I hope you enjoyed my #TTT.
