Why Altcoin Season Is Being Delayed !
Four years have passed, and we are all waiting for the alt season. Some people say that the alt season will never come especially the one we are waiting for, while others believe that the rally in November 2024 was the alt season, during which coins pumped by 300-500%.
There are also some people who say that the price increase in November 2024 was just a FOMO rally, and the real bull run is still to come. The bull run hasn’t even started yet. I’m saying this because I will explain it further in my post later. But for now, let's discuss why the bull run hasn’t come yet. Things change over time, and this time the crypto scenario is also different.
In the past, it used to be that Bitcoin would pump first, followed by altcoins, and finally, meme coins would pump. But this time, it's happening in a different sequence. First, Bitcoin pumped, a narrative was created, and Bitcoin was pumped. Then meme coins followed, and now it's the altcoins' turn.
One reason for this is that the market cycle has changed, and meme coins have attracted a lot of investors. Meme coins, like Trump, have gained significant traction. When they were launched, most of the market's money was flowing into these coins, which was a strange situation, but it has happened before. You all know about Elon Musk. His tweets about Dogecoin caused the entire market's money and investors to pump Dogecoin insanely. Now, let's move on to the second reason, which is Bitcoin Dominance.
You can easily tell from Bitcoin Dominance's weekly charts why the altcoin season is delayed. One way or another, Bitcoin dominance is being artificially pushed up, and it has broken its all-time high for this cycle. We know that the alt season only comes when Bitcoin dominance starts to drop. But this time, that hasn't happened. It has been continuously rising. It did drop once or twice, but those were just FOMO rallies, where it dropped 11% last November. During that time, some altcoins pumped by 200% and some by 500%. This time, when it starts to drop, I believe it will go down to around 48% or even 44%.

I believe that Bitcoin's 4-year cycle can't be completed until Bitcoin's dominance drops. You may disagree with me on this. If it drops to 48%, that would be roughly a 25% decrease. Now, consider this: when it dropped by 11%, altcoins pumped by 200-500% on average. You can check this for yourself. Now, if it drops by 25%, our altcoins could easily pump by 400-600% on average.
And if it drops to 44%, that would be an approximate 32% decrease, and our altcoins will soar like a rocket in the sky. Bitcoin dominance plays a very important role in the altcoin season, and you must have understood this from this post.
