What was your absolute favorite story when you were a child?

When I think about my childhood, there are many moments that have faded with time, but some stories remain intact, as if they had quietly settled somewhere inside me.

One of them is The Little Prince.

I don’t remember the exact day I first encountered it, but I clearly remember the place. I was at home, in a quiet afternoon that felt slower than usual. The light came softly through the window, and I had found a copy of the book among other things that had been in the house for a long time.

At that age, I didn’t fully understand everything I was reading. But somehow, I felt that the story was speaking to me in a different way.

It wasn’t just a tale. It felt like a conversation.

What stayed with me the most was not a single scene, but a feeling — the idea that what is truly important is often invisible. That people carry entire worlds inside them, even when nothing seems obvious on the surface.

¿Cuál fue tu historia favorita cuando eras niño?

Cuando pienso en mi infancia, hay muchos momentos que el tiempo ha ido borrando poco a poco, pero algunas historias permanecen intactas, como si se hubieran quedado viviendo en algún rincón de mí.

Una de ellas es El Principito.

No recuerdo el día exacto en que lo encontré por primera vez, pero sí recuerdo el lugar. Estaba en casa, en una tarde tranquila que parecía avanzar más despacio de lo habitual. La luz entraba suave por la ventana, y encontré el libro entre otras cosas que llevaban tiempo allí.

A esa edad, no comprendía todo lo que leía. Pero de alguna manera sentía que la historia me hablaba de una forma distinta.

No era solo un cuento. Era como una conversación.
