Hello @silver-bloggers community.
What was your absolute favorite story when you were a child?
When I think about my childhood, there are many moments that have faded with time, but some stories remain intact, as if they had quietly settled somewhere inside me.
One of them is The Little Prince.
I don’t remember the exact day I first encountered it, but I clearly remember the place. I was at home, in a quiet afternoon that felt slower than usual. The light came softly through the window, and I had found a copy of the book among other things that had been in the house for a long time.
At that age, I didn’t fully understand everything I was reading. But somehow, I felt that the story was speaking to me in a different way.
It wasn’t just a tale. It felt like a conversation.
What stayed with me the most was not a single scene, but a feeling — the idea that what is truly important is often invisible. That people carry entire worlds inside them, even when nothing seems obvious on the surface.
Looking back, I think that story shaped the way I began to see others. It taught me, in a quiet and subtle way, to look beyond appearances, to listen more carefully, to try to understand what is not always said.
Perhaps that is why, years later, I found my path in medicine.
Because caring for someone is not only about what can be seen, but also about what must be understood.
There were other stories, of course. Adventures, school readings, fragments of tales that came and went. But The Little Prince stayed.
Not because I understood it completely, but because I grew into it.
And even now, when I return to its pages, I discover something new — as if the story had been waiting patiently for me to catch up with it.
Some stories accompany us for a while.
Others, quietly, become part of who we are.
Thank you for reading.
See you in the words.

La historia que se quedĂł conmigo

Hola comunidad @silver-bloggers.
Hubo otras historias, claro.

STOPThe Little Prince is a beautiful story. I have a friend who says the same thing—that every time she reads it, she discovers things she hadn’t noticed before—and I think that’s really true. For those who love reading, the same story always reveals a different reality, and this story proves it. I loved the way you share your thoughts; you convey poetry and simplicity—I loved it!
