Why so serious

Social media is indeed playing a great role in the smooth communication with others. Thinking about a life without social media is hard to imagine, and nobody wants to live such a life because we became used to it.

I am thankful to social media because it helped me to communicate with many good people, and I got some opportunities to learn something from them. In my case, I mostly remain active in Hive in recent days and other social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (currently X). In a word, Web 2.0 social media can't catch my attention. And in that case you can say my activity in Web 2.0 is very little.

Social media is not a matter of concern for me, but for some people it's a very serious matter, and today I am going to share a story or incident from recent times.

Yesterday my little sister and one of my cousins were having a conversation, and they said another cousin was very obsessed with the likes and reactions to her Facebook picture. I overheard the conversation, and hearing that, an idea came to my mind. I said to give a haha on her profile picture that she recently changed. Without making any delay, I have done that as I thought. I have done it for fun purposes without having any other purpose.

That cousin (to whom I gave a haha reaction) called my sister and said many things related to it. My cousin thought that my sister told me to do that, as she has some argument related to it. Their conversation was more than 30 minutes, and after a certain time, she got angry and said that my sister was jealous of her. During the conversation she said many things that I didn't expect to hear from her. It was quite disappointing.

The first thing is she blamed my sister, who has nothing to do with my action. I think she could ask me why I have done it, although I have the right to give any kind of reaction. Instead of clearing up the misunderstanding, she said harsh words to my sister. As a result, I gave some more haha reactions to other pictures of her.😅. She became more angry, and at the end she left all the group of cousins, which was ridiculous because I didn't find any logic for her actions. Although she became angry, I was laughing when I heard her angry voice. It was indeed funny, and my other cousins also feel the same.

Her reaction was totally unreasonable. I am just wondering why some people are so sensitive with such a thing that carries no value for them.
