Slavery practice still exists

We are living in a modern world, and our current world is known as the civilized world. Every person in this civilized world should be equal in terms of rights, and everyone deserves respect as humans, and it should be your birthright. There should be no way to practice slavery in this civilized world.

In ancient times, the practice of slavery was very common. In that time, human slaves were sold in open markets. Female slaves were used for entertainment, and male slaves were used for labor work. They were not allowed to deny the order of the master. If they try to do so as a punishment, the master could do anything, and even the master was capable of killing the slave. Freedom was very costly, and in rare cases, a slave could get the freedom they desired. It was indeed a very cruel thing. I am feeling very lucky for not being born in such a kind of time because I think life would be hell if I were born in that time, as freedom was the most difficult thing to achieve.

Now we call ourselves civilized people, and practicing slavery is banned in the present world. There are various kinds of laws and policies to protect the freedom of people, and violating the law can bring punishment as a result. It is a very good thing that direct practices have been stopped because of it and those people who dare to do it are getting punished by law. And I also believe that freedom is the birthright of every human.

As I already said directly, it has been stopped, but even in this civilized world, warrior delivery practices are being done indirectly. I think that in the present time, owners of companies or businessmen are practicing the same things in indirect ways. In the past time, slaves were bound to do all the things their masters asked for, and at the present time, an office boss can ask employees to do the tasks for them. Bosses are indeed paying money for it, but in most cases, they are not being paid enough compared to the effort an employee makes. Sometimes an employee needs to do many things, even if they're not related to work. I know that there are many things to protect them, but they are afraid of using the law because, in that case, they will lose their jobs, which are their only source of income. They and I are helpless in that case.

At the present time, whenever someone starts doing a job, most of the company ask for a 3/4-year agreement. It's like the company can sue the employee if the employee leaves the company within the time period. In a word, an employee is not allowed to leave even if he wants to. The company asks for it for security purposes and for the stability of the company, but I think it's too much. 1 year or 1.5 years should be enough, but 3 to 4 years is a huge time.

So even if we are living in a civilized world, I am practicing slavery. This has been stopped, but it is still being practiced in indirect ways, like it just changed the cover. But I must say that it's much better than ancient times.

It's very much indirect, and they give it more acceptable names, but that doesn't change what it is at it's core.

I don't think comparing Slavery and the relationship between an employer and employee is the same.

Slavery - No freedom, No right
E vs E - you have the right to quit when you feel like

You don't get paid when enslaved and only eat once or twice a day
You get paid even though the money may not be enough to foot all your bills..

So I dont think the relationship between employer and employee is slavery, because we signed up for that ourselves, not that we were forced to do it.

I think it can be considered from different perspective and that's why I said it slavery with moderation and the situation is not so worst like earlier days.
Buy you also represented your perspective and in that case I have no word to defend as whatever you said also true.
