Paying tax is inevitable but not worthy

The economic condition of a country is very important, and depending on the economic condition, the development of a country can be understood. TAX is one of the great sources of funds that comes from the people. The amount is huge, and that's why the government always encourages or otherwise forces people to pay taxes on time.

As a citizen of a country, paying taxes is our responsibility, and I think it's important also because it plays an important role in our national economy. I agree with this, and I think we should know why we are paying the government. The system of a country and the development of the country do not run on air. It needs funding to operate properly.

In different kinds of sectors, there are different kinds of people. What's it for the government? The government needs to pay them, and the earnings from taxes are the major source of the funding for it. So all the government workers are being paid from it. The police, army, and military are responsible for protecting the law, defending the country, and ensuring the security of a country. Doctors and other people related to healthcare are responsible for the healthcare sector. In every sector, the government pays people to do their tasks properly to ensure better facilities for the citizens.

Infrastructure development like better transportation facilities, good roads, hospitals for treatment, enough educational institutions, and the improvement of the overall system to make the lives of citizens better and easier. In my opinion it's the priority of government, and we are paying tax for it as well as for living an improved and better life.

But the question is, are we getting anything good in return? In my country, making a road is the best way for corruption. Because of that, at the current moment in my country, we can see a little bit better transport system, but it costs a lot of money, maybe 10 to 20 times more than the actual cost. So it's also a loss for my country. It's the same for infrastructure development. I believe that if the corruption can be stopped, my country could be developed three to four times at least compared to the current development.

The security system is not satisfying enough for citizens. The government workers do not give their best service to the citizens. A maximum of government workers are corrupt. Leaders are also the same. Each year, the percentage of tax increases, and it seems unfair to me, as I can't see a significant improvement in service for what we are paying in taxes. Sometimes, I feel we should not pay taxes to the government.

Each year, a yearly budget is shown to us, and many things seem unreasonable to me, even if I don't know too much about budgets. They never explain why a particular sector needs so much money. We are paying taxes, and those amounts are filling the pockets of corrupt leaders. So, I feel there is no need to pay tax for it, but we don't have any way to avoid it. But the good thing is that last year the government was changed, and this government is trying to do better, and I am quite optimistic that with time, the government will give us a better system in the future.
