Only hard work is not enough
Everyone wants to achieve success, but success never comes to us by itself. It requires continuous hard work and dedication. Since my childhood time I have heard a statement that hard work is the key to success and it can ensure success. The statement is partially true from one perspective, but in my case, I want to see it from a different perspective. Let me share an example of it.
Who is the most hardworking person? If I start to think about it, there are various kinds of people who are very hardworking. A rickshaw puller or a farmer is the most hardworking person I have ever seen. As far as I know, most of the rickshaw pullers and most of the farmers face financial difficulties, and they always try to overcome poverty, and in most cases, they fail to do so. So isn't it enough to prove that only hard work cannot be enough to achieve success? One must go through in a planned way to achieve success.
At the present time, the study can be considered as another example, and it will be very easy to explain with the example. It is the responsibility of a student to study and do continuous work as well as hard work. By doing hard work, a student can get the first ranking, which is one kind of achievement, but we must need to think about why we are doing study. I don't know about others, but in my case, I am doing study to earn a handsome amount each month. So after finishing the graduation, the first step is to get a job to earn money. Having the first ranking is one kind of advantage, but it can't ensure any job. In fact, in the job sector, there are many talented students with similar qualities. In that field, I think the number one ranking is nothing to feel extraordinary about. In the job sector, they don't focus on academic results because the paper won't work for them; they focus on the skill of a candidate and the capability, which is not only dependent on results.
At the present time, linking and connection play the most important role in getting a job or doing anything. It can help to make things easier and faster for us. Having a good connection with seniors and professors can help us to get a job easily. It's because I never think they need help, and whenever someone asks them to recommend someone, they will recommend the name of the person with whom their connection is good. That's the way life works. It's not corruption. So don't be frustrated.
Let's talk about luck. I am the one who doesn't want to depend on luck, but I can't deny it can play a great role in achieving success. Coincidentally, many things can be easier even if we don't make enough effort for them. And again, sometimes even if we didn't spare any effort, we end up being failures. So luck has a role to play, and no one can deny it, and we need to depend on luck or someone at the end. Believe it or not, it's the truth, and in success, it also plays the role.
