Not all lessons are taught in school

It says that life is a journey, and, in the journey, we keep learning continuously. We started to learn from the day we were born, and we will keep learning until death. Learning lessons is not a thing that is bound to school. It’s true that we go to school to learn and educate ourselves. By the way, education is also not bound to school. In school, we go to learn formal lessons, and it’s almost known to all. We go to school for the sake of gaining knowledge and acquiring degrees, which help us to lead to the next stage of life.

Instead of it, we learn many things from school, even if we go there to gain knowledge. We learn how to interact with others and make friends. Additionally, we learn many things with time in school, which can be considered a bonus. But there are many things we need to know that are needed in real life, but I didn’t get them from school. Meanwhile, it was important, and I learned it in other ways.

The financial lesson wasn’t taught to me by school, but finance is the most important thing for anyone, and many of us suffer a lot just because of not being capable of handling financial matters well. A few lessons I learned from my mother, as she was quite good at some financial matters. She was very good at budgeting, and as I used to make a list based on her instructions all the time, I learned many things related to budgeting from her. Again, she was very good at saving money. I know her tricks of saving money, and naturally, I gasped at the lesson on saving money from her. I have become good at both cases since childhood. Later, I learned many lessons related to finance when I grew up and came into the world of crypto. Entering the crypto world was a major step in gaining many lessons. I knew crypto was for smart people, and with time, I learned about portfolio management, risk management, and so many things. I learned those for cryptocurrency trading, but most of the things are applicable in real-life business. After reading many financial posts, I realized the importance of emergency funds. I haven’t seen my parents have an emergency fund, but I was lucky enough to know about it, and I started to raise an emergency fund for dealing with emergency situations. It means the financial lessons I learned are outside of school. Some were from my mother, and some were from online platforms.

School lessons tell us to be friendly with good people and maintain distance from bad people, but school lessons don’t teach us how to identify bad people. In fact, it’s impossible to teach in school, as it depends on judgment. We need to learn it from our own experience. Others can give us hints about it, but the lesson needs to be learned by us. School lessons can’t give us knowledge related to betrayal. It doesn’t teach us how to deal when we get betrayed. It’s life, and everything can’t be explained in a few textbooks. The lesson we learn from school is just a little part of a whole life lesson. School lessons have nothing to do with our thoughts, personality, and perspectives. So, school lessons can be considered incomplete compared to the lessons we learn on our own. There are so many that I can’t mention all of them, but I think financial lessons were the most significant ones, and so I mentioned them only.
