Library, is still needed for the environment

Books are known as the best friend of us, and they can give us knowledge. It is known to all that knowledge is power, and that's the reason people search for knowledge, although it's not only limited to books. In the past, reading books was one of the best ways to gain knowledge. Now, the situation has changed because we have Google in the present time, and AI technology is beneficial for gaining knowledge with minimum effort.

Naturally, books are stored in the library, and that's why it says that the library is the storehouse of knowledge. In a library, different kinds of books can be found, and it's not limited only to textbooks. Literature, science fiction, detective, and various kinds of books are stored in a library, but some libraries can be made only with a specific category of book.

In my university, there are many libraries, and the largest one is known as the Central Library, where all kinds of books can be found. I can remember that I used to visit there almost regularly to prepare my lessons. The aura of the library was different from outside. The library remains very quiet, and I can say it is pin-drop silence. In rare cases, I heard any noise. It is such a place where one person can give full attention to a specific thing, no matter what it is. Learning lessons in such an environment is very beneficial. If I feel bored, I can read funny or different kinds of books to entertain myself. In a word, the place is so peaceful that sometimes I feel it would be good if I could sleep there.

But now we are living in a digital world, and we are getting smart with time. Now, when I need an answer to any question, I don't need to search for it in several books to know the answer. I can simply ask Google. In fact, now I can seek help from AI, which makes it much easier to get the answers to questions. Some professors recommend some books to prepare lessons, but I don't go to the library to search for books as I think in online, I can get the best information within a short time. As a student in this digital world, I don't follow the traditional way, and it can save a lot of time.

Does it mean I don't need a library or that it's an unnecessary thing? At first, I love to read books and especially non-textual books that have no relation to my studies. Indeed, I can find e-books online, but the feeling of reading a hard copy can be replaced by a soft copy. I know that a soft copy has some advantages, but it can't give me the great feeling like the hard copy.

The environment of a library is different from other places. In a library, I can give my full attention even if I read a soft copy in the place. I feel that creating the environment elsewhere is not so easy, except in the library. From the technical perspective, I may not give so much logic for keeping the library, but when it comes to feelings and environment, it can't be replaced.
