It's an unrealistic dream of thinking to ban internet

It's true that the development is impressive, but most of those need internet connectivity to perform. Without internet connectivity, most of the advanced technology and devices will be useless. From another perspective, it can be said that without the internet, the need for those technologies and devices will be decreased significantly. A maximum of our daily activities are highly dependent on or related to the Internet. The invention of the Internet is one of the most significant inventions in history.

A few days ago, I went to my village, and in the vehicle, I met a group of elderly people who were gossiping about the young generation. As far as I can remember, they didn't say a good word for the young generation except blame for many reasons. I heard their conversation and smiled, as I didn't have any intention of going into an argument. One of the elders said that young people of the current time can survive without oxygen, but they can't survive without smartphones. It was not technically true, but it's not wrong either if I see it from a different perspective. What made the mobile additive? Obviously, it's the internet. I am sure many people would not bother to look on their smartphones if there were no internet.

What if, in my country, the government decides to ban the internet? The consequences will be serious. It will create a negative impact on the economy of my country. One reason is most business deals depend on the Internet, and without the Internet, the system will collapse immediately. There is another reason, and it's the earnings from freelancing will be stopped, which is also giving little support to our country's economy. Six months ago, there were seven days of an internet blackout in my country, and during that time, my country suffered huge economic loss. During the time of the internet blackout, many people became helpless, and they didn't know what to do to pass the time. People became crazy, like psycho.

Banning the internet in this digital world is like cutting arms from the body. I think people who use the internet can't stay without it, and if it becomes banned, they will pass their lives with regret. We will be blind in this digital world if there is no internet, and most of the advanced technology will be useless in my country.

I read that @burlarj said that he will leave the country if the internet becomes banned, and I think I will do the same as him, as I can't think about a life without the internet. But again a second thought came to mind that if any government tries to ban the internet, it's better to change the government rather than change the country.

In my opinion, thinking of banning the internet in a country is ridiculous, and it's an unrealistic approach from any government. No government has the right and capability to ban the Internet. Moreover, I think no government will try to take the step unless the people of the government are foolish.
