Gambled with the last exam
Risk is such a thing everyone wants to avoid as much as possible, and it's very natural. Unfortunately, there is no way we can avoid risk all the time because almost every opportunity that comes to us involves risk. If we want to avoid risk fully, we need to give up those opportunities also. So the best thing we can do is minimize the risk as much as possible.
Life itself is at risk, and we can lose it anytime because we don't know what will happen to us in the next moment. Trading can be a good example of risk. When someone invests money in trading, there is a risk of losing money, but at the same time, it can provide an opportunity to make money. If anyone wants to take the opportunity, he/she need to take the risk. Moreover, with time, the trading skill may improve, which may help to do better in the future and make money using the skill. So, it’s worth taking risks, and it’s a choice, but sometimes we don’t get the option to choose, and we are bound to take risks. That’s how life is, and we can’t do anything about it.
Naturally, I am a calculative person, and I always try to minimize the risk. I don’t take risks unless it’s necessary. Taking risks is inevitable, and every day I need to take risks (mini) in many cases. But I want to share about a significant one I have taken recently.
Can you remember 2 weeks ago I mentioned my last academic exam as a student? If you can remember, then you also remember that the last exam was an exam of genetics, and it was the most difficult course in my university life. Naturally, the exam was not so easy either, and the exam question was the most difficult. Somehow, I managed to do well in the exam even if it was difficult.
Honestly, I was a little bit afraid of the exam, and so I tried to take my best preparation for it from an earlier time. There were so many things to remember, and when it comes to memorizing power, I can’t believe too much in myself because I am not good at it. My memorizing power is increasing, but I am still not so confident when it comes to memorizing lessons. So, before the day of the exam, I was very nervous, and I realized that I couldn’t remember most of my lessons. I revised those many times and forgot them before the day of the exam. I had half a day to solve it, but one day was barely enough for me to revise. I was clueless about what to do.
You may laugh to hear what I did. You may also think that I am not so serious about my study, but I am serious; otherwise, I would not be able to rank first. So, don’t think like that. I started to watch a Korean drama rather than revising my lesson. Believe me, I spent 8 hours watching K-dramas before the most difficult exam. I did it in the last exam only because I stopped watching drama while preparing for my exams before the exam arrived. So, the last night before my last exam as a student, life was indeed different.
I think I have done enough to relax my mind. I knew I had prepared, but fear made me nervous. I believed that I had read my lesson, and so the exam would go well for sure. But it was very risky. Just imagine what would happen if I couldn’t remember my lessons in the exam hall. I didn’t revise either, and I would be in trouble. I think it was a gamble with my last exam, and fortunately, I won it. By the way, I don’t recommend anyone follow my steps during the time of the exam because it’s extremely risky. In my case, I was prepared early. I mean, before the exam, I was mentally prepared for it, and that’s why I was able to do well in the exam also.

Life indeed is a risk. Whatever we do there must be a risk. I also have a coursemates whenever we are having exam he would have read at home, but because he's nervous about the exam he always watch movies to cool is mind and refresh is brain. I'm glad you were able to pass your exam.
I had my preparation from the earlier time and I am serious about the exam. May be this time I tried something different and as a student it was my last exam which will remembered all the time.

This is kind of similar to what I do. Once I see I don't have enough time to revise what I have left I just stop revision and sleep till exam starts. Because I can't take the risk of trying to take everything in a short period of time and then panic and maybe even end up forgetting most things I have already gotten.
Hehe. You slept and it was good to give rest to your brain. I think we become nervous when we have fear.

I know that feeling. That need to relax just before the exam. I've also experienced it multiple times. But 8 hours on a single show? That was risky indeed😂😂😂

Maybe I liked the drama series and get carried away and I didn't wanted to stop watching. By the way I was prepared for the exam from the earlier otherwise I would not dare to take the risk either.
