Evil for the greater good
Life is not less than a drama or a movie. It brings many surprises and shocks or twists, like we can see in dramas and movies. In fact, whatever we see is mostly based on real-life incidents. The difference is in movies and dramas, we add some more thoughts to make it interesting. In my life, I have witnessed many incidents like movies, and there was something that was hard to believe happened in real life also. I am keeping the incident for another day.
The Hive Naija community contest came up with an interesting prompt, and it seems a good one to reflect my personality, even if the scenario is imaginary. Let’s start with the background. Imagine I lived 20 years of life as a normal person. But what will I do when I find out that my dad is the runaway son of a doting criminal warlord, and your mom is the daughter of an equally doting secret agent? And both family businesses are looking to make me the next heir. What will I do after knowing it?
There is no doubt that I love nothing more than money. It’s not because I am greedy; it’s because I am a practical person and think rationally. After knowing the truth, I will find it very hard to believe, as nothing can be more shocking than knowing such kinds of secrets after so many years. But it will be a matter of time to realize that I will be a super-rich person in that time. That also means that my grandparents were powerful, rich, and influential, but at the same time, they were not on the right path. I have my own thoughts as a 20-year-old kid. I want money, but I don’t want to get money by doing something illegal because I think it will destroy my inner peace. So, I may feel bad thinking that my grandparents have done illegal things for their own benefit.
Imagine that my parents continued the illegal business and activities and made money from it. Naturally, I will be the next heir to continue both family businesses. Although I don’t love to do such a thing, I will take over both of my family businesses as an heir. Surprised or shocked? Let me explain why I will choose to do so.
If I don’t take over both of the family businesses, someone else will continue them for sure. In that case, I think nothing is going to change. The world in the present time needs power, and money gives one the power to do anything one wants to do. If I become the heir, it will be just a matter of time before I take control of both of the family businesses, as well as the assets from both family businesses, which will come into my hands for sure. Once I get control of those assets, it will depend on me how I will use those assets. Obviously, I will make a path for myself, and I won’t continue the path on which my grandparents and parents walked. They choose the wrong path, but it’s not necessary for me to choose the wrong one like them. I will be the heir just to take access to the assets, not for having the motive of doing what they have done.
Don’t think about me as a saint who will do only good work using the power of those resources. I have a cruel heart, and I want to punish many people who are doing many wrong things without getting punished. After getting the power, I will hunt those people and torture them cruelly. I don’t have enough trust in the justice system of the country, and so in that case, if I get the power, I will kill many people for sure because I feel there are many people in society who are garbage, and they are just trying to make life difficult for the general people. If I get power, why not eliminate them?
You may think, what will I do if my parents stay against it? Parents are important to me, and I try to obey their wishes as long as they’re justified. I won’t do such a thing, which I don’t want to do, just because of their wish. I can make the decision for myself. I will try to bring them on the right track. If they are not ready, I can’t do too much for them, but it’s sure that they won’t be able to restrict me because I have my own principles of life. Even if they feel betrayed by such a kind of action, I think it’s good for society, and I won’t hesitate to do it. Someone needs to bring the change, and in that case, I will be the one.

In some cases we need to be tough otherwise you will be turned into a puppet of others specially the puppet of parents. It may sounds harsh but it's the reality.

It's just like that, in the morning, some things are happening in life that don't happen in the evening and new things keep coming up. Life problems, neighborhood problems, family problems, in the same way, we are busy solving them solo and that is what we call life. So the best thing is that we should support each other in every difficult time, then life can still be good.
Someone's needs to bring a change ..that's correct . It makes sense that we see evil and call it evil regardless of what we stand to achieve . Money is tempting but whatever money that will take away my peace if mind, I will say NO to it

Hmm. Someone need to take the step. Justice is honest way is kind of weak and Justice with the help of evil is powerful and so I feel for justice it's not bad to be evil for the greater purpose.
