Current education system need change

In the present world, everyone is quite serious about education because most people believe that education is the ladder to shine in life or to achieve success in life. Having such a kind of thought is quite normal because education in the present world is very important, and it can teach us many things. Education is the backbone of a nation, and it's not just a statement; it's the reality.

What is the true meaning of education? The main purpose of education is to give us knowledge, make us capable of being self-dependent in life, and help us make the right decisions in life. But I think people of my country do not think about education in that way. They think about education as a trade. Most guardians invest their money in their children's education, and they expect that after completing their studies, their dear child will do something in life that can give them maximum return. It should not be like that, but it's the situation of the present time. And the output of it is horrible.

Every year in my country, a lot of students graduate from universities, and after completing their graduation, they remain unemployed for a long time. In that time, many students regret spending their most valuable time doing study and spending their money on it. I don't blame them if such kinds of thoughts come to their mind because it's quite reasonable, and I blame the education system for it, even if our government can't offer us enough job facilities for the students.

Our education system mostly focuses on theoretical knowledge, and it mostly depends on memorization. And those students do very well who have good memorizing power. Some students are good at it, and some students need to make lots of effort to memorize, but the results are the same. So, most of the students do not know the true meaning of education, and so utilizing the power of knowledge is hard for most of the students because memorizing and understanding are two different things.

Considering the situation of my country, sometimes I feel that rather than investing money in education, it's better to keep it in the bank, which can give a fixed return to us, which can be more than the salary one person gets after completing their graduation when they do work. Only very few people can achieve something great by studying, as they can figure out the true meaning of education.

My country is an overpopulated country, and for the government, ensuring a job for every student is not possible, and considering everything, I believe that if students get practical knowledge and learn some practical skills, which can be useful in life, and use those skills, they can earn something to survive, which will be more beneficial for them as well as for the country. I think that without solving the financial issue of individuals, it's hard to make a country develop, because if most of the students remain unemployed, they will take steps to do illegal activities to earn money.
