I've been wondering what would happen to the hot sauces if the refrigerator were to fill up. It seems like production is continuing, but we can't claim them. But can't they be claimed after they're used up?

The hot sauce cap corresponds to the maximum amount you can accumulate. If you reach the cap, the hot sauce produced in the fridge is lost when you claim it.
When I'm close to the cap, I play, consume hot sauce, and then make my claim ;)
