Creating a Gemini image [ESP/ ENG]

Estamos en el mejor mes del año, y si precisamente porque es mi mes, y aunque la comunidad #HiveDiy no continuo con las iniciativas de los signos, pensé bueno, igual haré este diseño, para mí, para ustedes, para todos los Geminianos de Junio😍.

La verdad hace mucho que no creo ni diseño nada, con los problemas que he tenido con la computadora, esperando algún día poder arreglarlo, me ha desanimado un poco, pero bueno, igual hay que seguir, y hoy me sentí un poco inspirada, por eso hoy les traigo este póster, representando el famoso e incomprensivo signo de Géminis.

Hablemos un poco de este signo

Géminis es signo de aire, regido por Mercurio, posee muchas características, algunos dicen que es el signo doble cara, por su simbología, la cual es representada por dos gemelos, es su naturaleza dual, y la misma se manifiesta en varias formas, como en su cambio de humor, capacidad de adaptación, entre otras cosas; la mitología de este signo se basa en los gemelos Cástor y Pólux, conocidos como los Dióscuros.

Ambos eran hijos de Leda, reina de Esparta, pero no eran hijos del mismo padre, uno de ellos, Pólux, era hijo de Zeus; estos hermanos eran inseparables, peleaban en batallas, hasta que un día, Castor murió en una de esas peleas, es allí donde Pólux le solicita a su padre Zeus que le permitiera compartir su inmortalidad con Castor, los hermanos compartirían su tiempo entre el Olimpo (el reino de los dioses) y el Hades (el inframundo), por ende Zeus coloco a los hermanos en el cielo como la constelación de Géminis, como tributo de su amor y lealtad.

Entonces, este signo no se basa en la falsedad, sino en la coexistencia de dos personas en una sola, es como una lucha interna, o en mi caso, lo siento así, entre de superar los límites de la vida, de sobrevivir dentro de tanto caos en mi mente.

Ahora vamos al diseño

Pues bien, volviendo al tema que nos trae aquí, el diseño de este póster, primero me fui a Bing IA, cree esta imagen de una joven geminiana sencilla, con un estilo deportivo, seguidamente me fui a Canva, a crear mi diseño; me gusta trabajar con este programa porque tiene muchos recursos, cuenta con un banco de imágenes accesibles, para crear todo tipo de diseños.

We are in the best month of the year, and precisely because it is my month, and even though the #HiveDiy community did not continue with the zodiac sign initiatives, I thought, well, I'll do this design anyway, for myself, for you, for all June Geminis😍.

The truth is that I haven't created or designed anything in a long time. With the problems I've had with my computer, hoping to fix it someday, I've been a little discouraged, but well, you have to keep going, and today I felt a little inspired, so today I bring you this poster, representing the famous and incomprehensible sign of Gemini.

Let's talk a little about this sign

Gemini is an air sign, ruled by Mercury. It has many characteristics. Some say it is a two-faced sign because of its symbolism, which is represented by twins. Its dual nature manifests itself in various ways, such as mood swings, adaptability, among other things. The mythology of this sign is based on the twins Castor and Pollux, known as the Dioscuri.

Both were sons of Leda, queen of Sparta, but they did not have the same father. One of them, Pollux, was the son of Zeus. These brothers were inseparable and fought in battles together until one day Castor died in one of those fights. It was then that Pollux asked his father Zeus to allow him to share his immortality with Castor. The brothers would share their time between Olympus (the kingdom of the gods) and Hades (the underworld). Zeus placed the brothers in the sky as the constellation Gemini, as a tribute to their love and loyalty.

So, this sign is not based on falsehood, but on the coexistence of two people in one. It's like an internal struggle, or in my case, that's how I feel, between overcoming the limits of life and surviving within so much chaos in my mind.

Now let's move on to the design

Well, getting back to the topic at hand, the design of this poster, I first went to Bing AI and created this image of a simple young Gemini woman with a sporty style. Then I went to Canva to create my design. I like working with this program because it has many resources and an accessible image bank for creating all kinds of designs.

Me gusta mucho el color rosa y fucsia, por eso escogí estos colores, creo que esta imagen la hice más pensando en mi jajaja, pero de eso se trata, de reflejarnos en nuestro arte, en nuestros diseños, dejar una parte de nosotros mismos allí.

Como dije, todos los recursos los usé de Canva, editando, entre las estrellas, el símbolo del signo, y por supuesto, me gustó la idea de colocarle una frase significativa.

I really like pink and fuchsia, so I chose those colors. I think I made this image more with myself in mind, haha, but that's what it's all about: reflecting ourselves in our art, in our designs, leaving a part of ourselves there.

As I said, I used all the resources from Canva, editing the stars, the symbol, and of course, I liked the idea of adding a meaningful phrase.
