WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS HONEST LIE?.., LET'S HEAR YOUR'S!.

Good morning everyone,

How are we doing today. It's my pleasure to write for the first time in this community...@freewriters community. I appreciate immensely the quality work done here by the admin of this community and it's team members. Most especially @mariannewest for her ability to keep us moving forward by providing prompts for us to write about daily, thank you.!

"Honest lie".
Yes, everyone has such moments when we normally think we need to present honest lies, either to cover up some dearest situations in our lives in other not to destroy another up coming or an already established concerns.

Yes it does happen, once in awhile. This doesn't justify it becoming our life style...or the right thing to do at that point. No, else it can ruin quality opportunities we may have been waiting for in life. We need to train our instinct not to join the bandwagon of honest liers.

WHAT ARE HONEST LIES ?
These are certain decisions we make within ourselves to say or do what overshadows the truth in order to control or direct situations as we want or like.

For instance, growing up in the village, we were told by either our parents or the elderly persons around our visinities then that ;

"If as a growing child mistakenly swallowed seeds from any fruit I was licking that the seeds or the seed of that particular tree will automatically germinate and grow through my head. And that I would just stand still as that very tree and start bearing those same fruits as that tree does"😂.....

This was and still a complete honest lie that was and can never be the truth. I believed it totally because the elderly persons around had said it.

A day came, as I was enjoying my sweet star apple fruits, (UDARA), I mistakenly swallowed one of the seeds.... Hehehehehe, I began to panic, crying, shouting to everyone that could hear my voice, believing I was going to become a standing star apple tree very soon, that I would no longer be a human being. I was crying, scary and feeling totally bad within me,
"How can I suddenly become a tree"? 🤔👀.

Along the line, my grandma returned from where she went. And told me pomp and plain that that was an honest lie, just to scare or stop children from swallowing seeds from any kind of fruit, except some that are meant to be swallowed. That was how my mind became peaceful again that very day and I was freely playing with my friends again.

I cannot forget that scenario all my life because of how scared, frightened and how traumatized I became that very day before my grandma arrived to sort out or to calm down my nerves.

Every honest lie is facing two unknown destinations.
Either to solve a need or
To create an unfortunate and unforgettable trauma for the moment or against the futuristic knowledge about someone or somethings. It needs to be checked in other to prevent it's dangerous damages in the lives of the recipients.
