The 2nd batch of my cement sacks yam harvest.

Hello everyone, compliments of the season.

This is that time of the year when we gather our profits, our produce, our benefits from the labours of the year in question into our barns.

The whole yams I harvested this year, both big and small here are from my empty cement sacks planting and harvest, be excited with me.😂😂

Same here. I planted up to 40 cement sacks of yams.

We come home from the field of labour rejoicing giving glory to God Almighty the first farmer, the greatest farmer and the everlasting farmer in the whole universe. He showed us how to plant and when to get the best harvest!

Harvesting of my empty cement sacks yams.

Since I learnt about this modern planting technique and technology, I have always tried my hands on it and I'm glad this technology has responded to me positively. This works without much stress, it's not expensive. Just do the needful, the result will show/ will come at the appropriate time. I'm so grateful I tried this year again.....see the great harvest I got.

This farming technology have some how replaced the traditional method of planting we have always known from childhood. I can remember how we the cousins, nephews and siblings were always going to a very far way farm land with my maternal grandmother for farm work, carrying heavy loads on our heads both going and coming back from farm.

As we get there, we will start by creating so much heaps of planting sand as moulds for planting. Her yams, cassava stems, melon seeds, name it, and every of her seeds to be planted, we must make heaps of planting moulds for the crops to grow healthy and as well be fruitful. That was what she was thought and she in turn thought us what she knew too.

Though these method is still in place and still practicable but it's a tedious, and strength consuming method. I know, not all seeds can perfectly produce adequately in an empty cement sacks planting method.

Seeds like ;
Yam
Pepper
Tomatoes
Garden eggs
Saint leaves
Curry leaves
Water leave
Fluted pumpkin and so many home based seeds and crops are very comfortable with this empty cement sacks method

I suggest you try it this coming planting year and season then thank me later !!.

I heard also that crops like dwarf orange seed, can as well be planted in some empty cement sacks. Some knowledge and experiences come by practice. Try it and see...!

Myself, I saw this technology and method from Facebook some years back and started growing it and the crops have always yielded so much benefits.
This year's report is so heart warming, I'm very grateful for the benefits I have gotten from a very tiny part of yams I planted into some empty cement sacks in the Month of March this year, 2025.

This was how the yam vine and the leaves has turned dry and brown in colour before I harvested.

Some months back, I posted my first harvest of the produce. As the tradition demands that, towards the end of every year's planting season like November and December, there has to be a total harvesting of the crops planted in the farms since March of that same year. I have harvested mine and this is the last set of my empty cement sacks yam harvest 2025, and the harvest is perfectly balanced and beautiful..

Thank you for reading through and responding in my comments section.

All images are mine.

Compliments of the season, enjoy the Christmas and remember to share love with others.

Love from,

@ijebest.

Woahhh, impressive. Your hard work paid off well through a good harvest. All these yams from a sack bag?

I wonder why my auntie own didn't do well at all. She tried this same method, and nothing came out of it.
