My Travelling Experiences...!
From time to time there are needs for people to move from one point to another. Yes...., we are certain to move forward to other places. Most of the times, we walk along on foot with our legs ( Legedies Benz)😂, some other times, we can use other means of transportation system of which are very numerous to mention.
For me, by God's grace, I have been able to use most of the transport systems we all know about today.
Name it, airplane, cruise ship, boat, cars, motorcycle, Keke napep, speed train, but I have never traveled by bicycle 😂
In all of these efforts, I have some preferences....like airplanes and cars. I mean, my personal cars. Which are far better than the public transportation system
Airplane will always assist one to save time and arrive safely at your destination and very much on time. Like going from Lagos State to Owerri local airport takes only 45 minutes to get there, unike travelling from the same Lagos State to Owerri on cars and buses will take the whole day to get there...so to say.
How would you explain a situation where someone starts traveling from 7: am in the morning till you get into your house in either Imo state or Abia state by like, 10: pm or by even 12: pm at night. This is not appropriate, it's rather exhausting. The distance is too far away from each other.
Though travelling by road makes me happy, seeing so many beautiful locations along the way, seeing and going through many other states. Taking pictures of certain places. Sometimes, during the road travel, the driver could stop and pack in a certain location then every occupant will come out to walk around or to eat some food, stretching out our legs and bodies before setting out to continue moving forward again on the journey.
The ugly experience I had one time was terrible, coming back to Abia state from Abuja, one time. With one beautiful Sienna from one transport company, without knowing that it was terrible within the inside body.
From a little minutes after 7:am in the morning as we have paid for the charges, collected our tickets and left their station. Not too far from that part of the state, the Siena started quaking and finally refused to move again.
We all came down, the driver started working on it but to no avail. He called and employed the services of those that pull cars along the road to pull it for us move to another close by village mechanic. He tried his best, Siena refused to start, till darkness started showing up. I was panicking, and praying for the car to move, nothing happened
Then we began to stop other cars to help and fix us into their cars gradually but none assisted us. Then one trooper strong hilux came up and hooked up on our own, we entered and started moving gradually to another little town as it was pulling our Sienna.
There We now found another Hiase bus that wants to go to Onitsha, our driver paid for our transport, one by one to Onitsha but not our destination ooo, we left and came into Onitsha by a very late hour that day, we took our seats in their park sleeping and waking up till the next morning. Thank God we're very safe. I had my handbag as my pillow all through that night. In the morning, I bought pure water, washed my face before we started the journey again moving
We now got another bus going to our destination, we paid our fares by ourselves from our pauses remember that the Siena driver didn't return our transport fares, we paid our fares this time around.. That was how God saved me and other occupants of our Sienna as we left from Abuja, thank God we got to our different destinations in peace but on the second day of the journey. It was a terrible and an unfortunate experience for me.
