I harvested my Ginger, very rewarding!!
Hello hai,
Merry Christmas to all of us in this beautiful Christmas morning. I know everyone is bubbling in the euphoria of joy and excitement this Christmas morning. The very day which all of us has been dreaming about and expecting to come. Here it is.

Wow, I know rice, stew, meat, cakes and wines and other stuffs are very plenty, enjoy... people...! It's a pleasure to be alive and healthy. Thank God the greatest giver and the sustainer of lives and thank you all for being there for one another, all these years, it's amazing!!.
Benefits of Ginger Usage
Ginger is known to be among the ancient spices for preparing some meals. Ginger is used to cook food according to ones choices just like garlic too.
Ginger Usage in meals warrants longevity and healthy body.
Ginger is embedded with so many minerals that our bodies need to function properly, examples are: potassium, calcium, iron, chlorine.
These components found in ginger helps to boost digestion, relaxes blood vessels, takes care of cold and cartter by chewing and swallowing the juice.
Ginger Usage fights inflammation and infection.
Ginger gives quality taste to our meat when blended and boiled with it.
Ginger blended and drank from time to time is a stomach cleanser.
Ginger is a heart cleanser, using it regularly protects our hearts from failure, heart attacks and other diseases.
Ginga is wildly used all around the world. It's not a new ingredient into our kitchens, cookings and to our lovely numerous meals, on daily basis.

Some time ago, I bought a bunch of ginger from the market for my regular cooking of stew and meat.
Looking at one among the bunch, I discovered one of them was already germinated on its own. I then rushed to my backyard gathered some sand into an empty cement sack and planted it and left it there, after some time, I discovered that it has germinated properly having and spreading some leaves. I was so thrilled by that.
I kept monitoring it growing. At a time the leaves turned yellowish in colour, I decided to check it up and i harvested a reasonable lumps of gingers that was late last year. After which I planted the stem again in that Same sack and allowed it to grow into this year began. It started growing up again bearing fruits
Just yesterday, being that the leaves are completely dried. I now decided to harvest it.... Come and see what I saw!!!, what..?, I was just screaming, what..?

I was totally surprised at the rate of the ginger fruits coming out from that tiny one I had planted last year, only that very one, I didn't take it serious yet it has really responded to me with a very wonderful returns and result. This was why I decided to share this experience with us, lovely people of my @homesteading community.
No seed planting is small or useless. It really wasn't an intentional planting. A kind of casual action I took last year is now resulting into this huge harvest. Ginger is generally very costly in the market in this season, even garlic is also very scarce and expensive.
I'm motivated by this unexpected fruitful result, I then carefully now replanted it again in the same sack I harvested these ones... Take a look at how I now did it to avoid direct heat and hot sunlight because this is dry season, rainfall is very scanty.

Here I was adding water to it, the water I fetched from our tap for it not to feel the hot sun heat.

I was fetching water from our tap.

I now covered it with it's own dried leaves, I know it do even more better this time around.
I'm very excited about it all

Thank you, merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.🎁🎄🌌
Thank you 👍!
Wow that's a huge amount of ginger, you really did very good,no energy is wasted at all here. I know you will plant more next year
Thank you sis,
I have already replanted it without wasting time, I never expected this huge harvest from just only one cement sack.
This time around I intend to plant more of them, This has given me an insight to plant more of such. Thank you 😊.
Yes ooo
That's good keep it up dear
I don't miss using ginger and garlic in my stew
Yes, it gives a very attractive aroma and a quality taste too.
Yes you are very correct
You are welcome 🤗😁
Alright dear
Sometimes the plants we don't tend well usually yield well. With this quantity of ginger you harvested, you won't buy ginger in the market anytime soon.
!BBH
Yes oooooh, ginger as I'm talking to you now is very, very expensive in the market.
These will last longer for me, I'm sure! Thank you for coming around, Merry Christmas 🎄🎁.
This is so unique, wonderful plants everywhere
Thank you very much bros me, Merry Christmas 🎄🎁,
and a happy (gifting/boxing 🎁 day). Choose anyone this means to you.😅
Beautiful harvest. Planting is a habit we should all cultivate
You are very right sis,
That's the habit I have been encouraging #wavers to adopt because it can never go wrong.
Even if your plants did not produce much, at least you can never have an empty harvest or return.
Planting of seed is very profitable. Thank you for coming around. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁.
Merry Christmas
Same to you, thank you so so much.
You are welcome
Thank you , good night 💤🌉
Congratulations my friend on your amazing harvest.

Thank you, as I said, that was a casual planting that turned into a great harvest.
