Tackling Moral Decadence.Question for this week
It's saddening to see, hear and observe the level of morale decline in our society in this our century.
From all indications around the world, Morality has really fallen, that's not only in the developing countries. Both developed, underdeveloped and the developing countries are suffering from moral decadence.
To continue on this topic today,

The Oxford Advance Learners Dictionary's definition about this state of life in our society today it says,
"Moral decadence is the state of failure in moral behavior, attitude, that shows a fall in the standards, especially moral behaviors. An interely pleasure and enjoyment state of life rather than focusing on more serious things"
We can now see what is the exact lay man's meaning of this very topic today, it's understandable that this is exactly the state of our societies today, from coast to coast, all around the world, very surprising and an agonizing situation.
The other day, it was read in the news, that, "A young boy of 10 years old killed himself, suddenly in their home where he lived with both parents, they got to know why from the note he dropped. Saying, he joined a cult group in the school, that taught them how to gradually be taking a particular poison that will eventually kill them at last, and that was what he had done.
This was how a parent lost their 10 years old son to the unknown evil group, secretly polluting innocent minds. Devil's incarnate and devil's advocate with human skins deceiving the whole world if only you allow them to mislead you.
"His reason is that there's nothing admirable on the earth, how did he join this evil group, through the social media, phone. Secretly, without the knowledge of his parents he lived with in the same house. They were forbidden not to let anybody know about it and he kept this evil secret and rules, till they saw his dead body in his room, just one day.
At just 10 years old, he had on his own already agreed, decided that this beautiful world has nothing admirable in it. What has he seen? Where has he gone to?. That's the deceit of the devil. Surprisingly at just 10 years old, he agreed and could hide this ugly lie from his parents even at this tender age"
Little wonder the Bible speaking in the book of Matthew 24v12, & 13, KIJ, ( King James Version)
says,
''And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 say, But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved".
Another translation puts it this way,
"And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. There will be more and more evil (sin, lawlessness) in the world"
God didn't hide this truth from the earth, evils may even continue but don't join them, that's what God is saying.!
Causes
The government, is no more up keeping sincere laws and justice in the society. Severe hard Economic situation in the country set by the government has forced parents to concentrate more on how to survive, how to keep their families in shape rather than how to take quality care of the children and Wards.
Some Parents do leave their houses in the morning hours and come back between 9 pm or 10 pm and start preparing dinner, some times, before they could finish, the children have slept. No time to interact with the children to know how they went for the day. Tomorrow the same system... So how can such kids grow as expected of them. No parental controls, instructions on the children.
So much alcohol intakes, smoking of anything that the Youths want to, all sorts of crimes are committed in the society and again the individuals. People now has refused to work hard to make money, they prefer enjoyments, violence, risky lifestyles, corruption is the order of the day, glaring at everybody's facees without caution or punishments. Everyone is doing the same thing..., acquisition of false wealth everywhere.
Getting to the villages, they fraudsters will become chiefs, governors by all avenues they found fit to maneuver through. People lacking conscience and remorse. Competition on who has more wealth than others not caring how they made them.
Nomore shame, fear or remorse about doing the wrong things so long as money or enjoyment will come from it. No fear of God in their minds or eyes, negatively very bold doing the evil and the wrong things.
It's very hard to get apprenticeships these days, people prefer to create content of all kinds believing they will make money than being an apprentice to learn a life long skill that will sustain them and their loved ones, everyone wants quick money.
In the name of content creation, a couple living in Germany do show their conjugal lifestyle on the social media with the hope to get surplus followers but it looks dull and unattractive, they're not getting much followers because what the keep showing the public is disgusting though a couple.
Because they want to use what they supposed to do in private and be showing the whole world.. ugly. It's a spirit, if you don't control your mind and self, it can overwhelm you then you begin to struggle under that evil influence.
Don't even start or think of joining them, else, you can be stocked The Bible instructed, we don't join them, we should endure to the end, because evil shall surely abound, this is towards the end of times**
*What can we even explain about the worst senerio. There has been a total character deterioration in morals, even in our culture as a people. Kings are taking bribes transferring kingships and rulership to who gave more money than the right full person. Moral failures and characters abound every where. People using their fellow humans to make money retual.
The other day, a retired police officer lost two of his sons by human rituals. The story has it that, the elder brother was more homely than the younger. Not knowing that the younger has been asked to bring his elder brother's head for money ritual. A time came that the junior asked the senior, let's go and fetch water from the village stream. Being an innocent senior brother, he agreed.
Both of them set out for the stream, on a lonely track road both of them were going. The senior was a little ahead of the junior in front. This wicked junior used over sharpened Cutlass on the neck of his senior brother.
Carried his head immediately into a bag and began to run to the herbalist shrine, not knowing that someone saw him, he alerted the village youths, they waylaid him and killed him too as the head of his senior brother was dripping blood from his bag. This was how their old parents lost their two healthy sons, one day.
What a tragedy, caused by greed and get rich quick syndrome?.
** Patience and obedience to the word of God is the total solution and the only way out**
