FOUNDATION WITH GOD
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 3:11, Isaiah 28:16, Ephesians 2:19-20, 1 Peter 2:4, Luke 6:46-49, Matthew 16:18, 2 Timothy 2:19-21.
A foundation with God simply means having a strong relationship with, knowing who GOD is, knowing His word (Bible), seeking God’s face every time.
HOW TO BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION WITH GOD
- Meditating on the word of God
- Seeking God’s face (Praying)
- Doing things according to the ways of God
- Preach and teach the word of God
- Believing in God without any doubt
In 1 Corinthians 3:11; It is written that there’s no other foundation can no man lay other than that which is already laid, which is Jesus Christ. It simply means that Jesus is the only foundation in our lives, because He created us in His own image, he knew us even before we were born.
In Ephesians 2:19-20; It is written that we are not strangers we are citizens of the saints of God. We are children of God, we belong to God. It is also written that we are the foundation of the apostles, prophets and Jesus Christ himself, the chief corner stone.
In 2 Timothy 2:19-21; it is written that the foundation of God standeth sure, He knows His people and those that calls His name should depart from evil. A great house, there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood on earth, some to honor and some to dishonor . For many man that depart from evil and follow the ways of God, He shall be made a vessel unto honor, he shall be used by God and prepared for the good works of God.
In conclusion, Jesus Christ is the chief corner stone, He is the one and only foundation we need in our lives, we must obey His word, meditate on His word and seek His face everyday.
