Wow we're now one week into the new month. Amazing how time flies when one is too busy with the mundane. 😅 I have not completed the sharing of our week-long vacation in Palawan. This is the last leg of the tri-city tour and we have arrived in Coron. On my last post, I shared some information on Paolyn Houseboats. My daughter was finally able to edit and post the video on this part of our vacation.
This is really my favorite part of the vacation as the Paolyn Houseboats experience was truly special. After the welcome and once we were able to choose the accommodation, we ventured into the private speedboat tour.
We had four stops and one of them is at Atwayan Beach where we had our late lunch. Our meals during our stay were ordered in advance as that's part of the rules at Paolyn's. They need at least a day in advance to prepare the meals for the following day. We met some friendly doggies there. You'll see them on the video.
The last stop for the day was at Smith Beach to watch the sunset. It was still pretty cloudy so we just caught a glimpse of it. In between, my daughter enjoyed snorkeling around the coral gardens surrounding the area. The entire place is so lovely. 💞
It's time to return to the glass houseboat where we'd be staying overnight. We learned there are two levels to this houseboat so my daughter decided she'd sleep on the second floor while I enjoyed the big bed on the lower level. We prepared for dinner as we would be picked up and brought to the main restaurant in another part of the lagoon. 😆 Dinner was scrumptious and the cocktail drinks were yum! On the ride back to the houseboat, we had to go slowly as the water level was pretty low and the area has a lot of corals.
I really slept well and woke up early to birds flying around the area. Our breakfast was delivered to the houseboat. We enjoyed it with a really private and lovely view. My daughter decided to enjoy a bit of kayaking before our check out time. I just stayed and enjoyed more of the houseboat. This part of the vacation was truly memorable. We checked out around noon and were brought to the pier via a speedboat. More tours for the next two days in Coron.

Twenty-four more days before the month ends. Know what that means?? -ber months are coming again. To us in the Philippines, we start hearing Christmas jingles everywhere once September begins. Yeah so for me, it's like the countdown to yearend begins. I'm still dazed over the events in June-July when my daughter was home for a vacation. I think it just went by too quickly that I'm still left wondering if it really happened. 😆 Alas, it will take a while before we could enjoy more time together. It is what it is. Guess for the meantime, I will need to find my own escape and entertainment just to pass the days. 🙏💞💡
Another weekend is coming. Yay! I'm back to living for the weekends. 😅 These past few days have been rainy and I'm happy about that as the temp inside the flat is quite cool. How I wish this would be the regular temp. 😉
