Happy #thankfulThursday 🎉 amazing how another month end is coming in a few... 😮 are you now counting down the end of 2025? 😂 I think I am at the back of my mind. However, first things first. Let's get this Undas 2025 out of the way first. No trick or treating since that's just mostly done in commercial areas. I think there was one such activity at the neighborhood mall last weekend -- I saw the photos shared. 😅 I'm being the hermit and staying away from anywhere with lots of folks and celebration. I prefer the quiet of home and the company of the kitties. 🤣 Yeah, I'm really getting old.

No excuses in not achieving my daily steps. I did get a little lazier last Chooseday and did way less than usual. I think it rained that time too. 😅 I have less steps from chores (watering plants in the garden) when it's rainy. 😛 The plants are happier though since they get their vitamins from the rain.

I'm super thankful for this postcard from Mexico that I received yesterday. In my decade of being a member of PostcardUnited, this is the first card ever that I have received from Mexico. I dream of seeing this place in person, but I'm not counting on it anymore. Super glad for this rare card that makes me feel like I've been there too. 🙏❤️💡

Apparently, Henry David Thoreau believes that death in nature is not grim or sorrowful but part of life's continuous cycle. I learned from looking this up that he discussed this in his 1862 essay "Autumnal Tints." What struck me was his perspective on human grief. From what I gathered, he believed that we should accept death as part of life's cycle, much like trees lose most of their leaves during winter. This is to make way for new life in spring. Sadness aside, acceptance will eventually come when it comes to dealing with the loss of loved ones. I still miss Mom daily, but that's life. I will always have the good memories we had. I pray she finds the happiness she deserves. Life's like that, we simply can make the most of our borrowed time on this plane of existence. I suppose we should look at life as being the best version of ourselves, so that when our time has arrived, we welcome it with open arms and say that was a good journey. 😌 I don't think I want another run though. 😂

One more day.. I booked flowers for Mom's vault and there's mass at around 10 AM tomorrow for Mom and Dad. I'll check that on the columbary's FB page. They will send the flower photos at a later date though. It's not the first time I ordered so I'll just wait.

I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Reached my $5 goal so I'm aiming for the next dollar up. Halfway to reaching another pay out. Just keep going.
