Well, it was a really rainy Monday, and by this morning, there were news of flooding almost everywhere in the metro. I believe I was correct in the forecast of classes suspension. 🤔 Weather forecast as of 5 pm today, we'll have around >200 mm rainfall from today till tomorrow afternoon. That's a wait and see though. 🙄 Honestly, I'm in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. I can't complain about the heavy rain -- although it can be inconvenient -- since it also means cooler temperature inside the flat. The coolest record is now 28C. 👏 Yes, I'm celebrating! However, the downside to that is I overslept this morning. 😱 It made me jump out of bed suddenly. 😅 That was a major oh no! moment for me. Thankfully, the delivery staff came back some minutes later (after taking the delivery receipts from me) to say he's returning the receipts since there would be no deliveries today due to flooding. 😝
Blueberry brioche. Purchased this special bread from Kumori (where I bought my birthday cake) last Sunday. I like their specialty breads. Plus, at that time, the stall did not have a long queue. 😅 I planned to buy somewhere else but there was a long line. It's a great decision too, as it rained hard when I got home. If I got delayed by a few more minutes, I would have been caught in the heavy rain. 😉

Sounds good, except it's thankfully not summer anymore where I am. 😅 Pros and cons. I used to like summer but not since it got too hot inside the flat. As a result I had to spend more for the cooling system. On the other hand, I like the beach. It's been a long while since I enjoyed going to one.
I miss the good ole days when I could walk without a cane. Seems like ages ago. 😒 I do wonder now if I'd still enjoy it. 😅 I'll be optimistic, so I'll say let's wait and see...
Counting down the month.. nine days to go! So far it's not rainy tonight. Of course, I'm not sure how much more or less rain there would be overnight till tomorrow. 🤔 Wait and see I guess.. weather is not something we could control.
Glad I'm still able to make the steps even in rainy weather. I don't get to do much in the garden. Plus I certainly do not need to water the plants. I do, however, need to sweep the flooded terrace hallway. 🤔
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Reached $2 on LL now, so my next goal is $3.

We are seeing record hot temperatures here. Major fires in Canada. Last couple days we got lots of rain. Weather patterns have shifted to more extremes than the last 60+ years I experienced.

I used to see post heavy-rain flood almost everywhere in Dhaka city, Bangladesh. The water drainage system wasn't good enough to handle heavy rainfall. Is the system similar in Manilla?
From time to time, oversleep is not bad. I would love to enjoy some oversleep :)
