Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and gaming community! Welcome to Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report. We play the game for fun and rewards and we compete in the Guild Brawls. Here is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: Fifth Place

We slightly improved from last week's sixth place finish. We were short of one win away from fourth place. They have forty nine losses against our twenty three meaning they played more games than us. If we can fill up the frays and play more games then we can fight for the top three places. Our members are good players and score well. We just don't have enough to fill the frays.

I'm proud to contribute a perfect score, winning all games and giving away no losses. I've been buying cards to upgrade them and I'm happy with the results.

Selected Games

Game 1

A game with Equalizer and Counterspell. I used two low mana cards. In front I had Spellmonger with Thorns and a two mana melee card. My opponent used one card with a high life stat. Since all life stats will be equal, it gave me an advantage having two cards. My Spellmonger countered his melee card while my other card attacks.

Game 2

Game 2 had the same Equalizer rule. Both teams used two cards this time with Spellmonger in front. My opponent had the better card, legendary gladiator Fina Voxom while I used a common card. His archon was also better giving speed boost while my archon does not help my units. Although he had a legendary card, it was only level one. My level three common card had the better stats and won me the game.

Game 3

I'm against Fina again in this game. It has Opportunity and got countered by my Spellmonger early in the round. The fight was close but luck was on my side and won the game.

Game 4

The game rules does not allow melee cards. I didn't use a gladiator card in this game but my team were all good cards. I had the higher level archon and cards with better stats. My archers all had high attacks especially the legendary archer with Double Strike skill. Another legendary archer buffed my team with extra life stats. My opponent had a support gladiator card that adds armor to his team. This didn't help him much as my stronger cards prevailed.

Spending the Rewards

I bought two chests and got only common and rare cards. No new cards in this batch. I hope to get a legendary card like Fina soon.

Conclusion

We earned 3,100 merits and 24 SPS from the brawl. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn guild rewards.
