I'd suggest e4 but you'll have to prepare for a lot of replies from black like Sicilian, French or Petroff. If you hate memorizing openings, go for d4 (London System) as White then Slav defense or QGD as a reply to d4 as Black. If White moves e4 then reply with e5 as black. There are plenty of opening tutorials on youtube if you want to learn openings.
YT is a very confusing place. I tried learning from YT, and what happened was I got sucked into the stupid YT algorithm, which kept pushing me into advanced traps instead of basics, and that is how I ended up with a 700 rating. And after a series of losses, I had given up. However, these puzzles and the small steps I am taking are bringing my interest back. Time to start from the Basics again. ❤️☮️
