I am not saying you are a scammer. We need more people like you on HIVE not less.

I am just saying there is a stereotype and it was not made up yesterday. It is a globally known phenomena. And maybe that is just one of the consequences of HIVE. There will be culture differences. It is hard for people with totally different lives and cultures to share enough values that we are frictionless. I think friction on HIVE is a good thing. I think it is a good thing that anyone around the world can tell anyone else around the world what they think and feel. We have trolls on HIVE, but most people do take it more seriously than other social media when it comes to posting things. We can joke around while still having intent and purpose. I think what you have done here as an individual is amazing. And I do think there are beautiful people that come from all over the world. I have nothing against Nigeria. And we should be allowed to repeat things we did not make up that most people in our cultures have been through and understand. I really do not think that it is inherently unreasonable. Maybe you wish he said it differently? I don't know. But you both are free to say whatever you want here and that is a good thing which is not true everywhere.

It is a fact that Nigeria and many other countries in Africa have way less opportunities for their people when it comes to international commerce because of the absolutely horrific level of intimate scams that come from Africa. And it is very personal.

You are trying to bring people from different parts of the world into this. I am not sure where that instinct comes from? People from Indian, on average, are famous for working their ass off and running huge portions of western companies from behind the scenes. If you live in India, and you are really smart, and you work your ass off, they sometimes do get to western countries and make crazy money. Not everyone. But it does happen for people from India enough that people know about it globally. If you work in the West, and you outsource something to India, no matter what time you call, they will answer and try to fix it. They will literally stay up for days to fix a problem. And when it is fixed, they will tell YOU thank you (the person who gave them the opportunity and the problem to solve).

Do scams come from India? Yes. But people from India do have a really positive reputation on average. People in India make people in the west a lot of money. They are good business partners and it literally gets them jobs that pay well. Western countries import people from India and it is usually a good deal for the West because they make other people more money and not because people feel sorry for them. 🤷‍♂️

This is crypto and we need to stop trusting people, regardless of where they come from. Don’t trust, verify.

I did not make any of this up. And if you frame life as unfair, and a downvote makes it worse, maybe you should think about what you are asking. Are you being a scammer?
