I recalled a recent trip that I brought my mother to the hospital for a medical checkup and it was quite a long time since I visited a hospital.

For me, I thought that after bringing my mum for the checkup, we can quickly get her bill settled after collecting the medications prescribed to her by her doctor. However to my horror, the paying of bills is a horrible process. I saw a counter that is labelled with the word cashier so I thought I will be able to make the payment for the check up, but after clearing a queue of 5 people, I was being directed to the other counter that was located 1 block away as the staff mentioned that her counter is only for over the counter medication payment. For check ups and all, it will be handled by the central operations of the hospital and this got me a little annoyed.

I headed to that counter and took a queue number with 20 people in front of me. And after finally got to my turn, the counter staff asked, why didn't you use the app to make payment and avoided the queue.

And this sums up a bad day and bad experience.
