It's a family gathering that was organized by Dennis's mother for the extended family to come together and have a meal together. They have not have once since the last gathering they had during Christmas. This meal was actually planned as a catchup as Dennis had just started his university life this year and had not been back home for 3 months.

When Dennis finally reached home, everyone welcome home the freshman. Grandma missed him the most and gave him a big hug. Dennis was glad to be home and missed the comfort of his house and being surrounded by the love of his family.

The dinner table was filled with laughter and joy as Dennis shared all the interesting that happened to him in the 3 months where he had been living in campus and experiencing school life. And this discussion also triggered other family members sharing their experience as well during their school years. Many commonalities still stand while some things did progressed and are only experienced by the younger family members.

A night of great catch up and family time before they each went home while Dennis spent the weekend with his parents and siblings.
