I honestly think that times have changed significantly over the years. In the past, people would just work hard, get the work done and keep to themselves. But nowadays, due to the fact that many people have become way more vocal, people tend to proclaim the work they do to everyone so that it is being acknowledged.

While it is important to let others know that you have completed that piece of work, but somehow, these behavior is getting from bad to worse. There are even platforms or forums created for people to sell their work to the masses. And whenever they make such presentation of their work, it really looked like a fluff that coats an empty shell.

And this breeds a new era of packaging and selling without doing actual work which is dangerous for any company. People spend more time fluffing things up than doing actual work. And it will end up, whatever presented might just be a fake project which no real work had been done. Let's all be mindful and avoid pushing towards such a culture.
