The instructor gathered everyone whom is attending the high elements course near the starting point of the high element. He gave an introduction on the high element, explaining what is expected for each part of this high element. He then move on to share about the required safety precaution before allowing the participant to kick start on the activity.

He shared to the participants that when self experiencing or conducting for others, no matter what, the rule of thumb is to hook it then lock it. For hook it, it meant that every participant needs to hook their harness onto the element safety line, then for lock it, it is to lock the hook up point to ensure the hooked on portion will not fall off as they do the element. Slowly each participant of tested out the mechanism and clarified all the necessary questions with the trainer before embarking and trying out the high element themselves.
